I recently purchased a Mine E-Hybrid and have a question about charging. I am using the 3-pin plug provided by the dealer and my electricity provider offers a lower rate between 12 am and 7 am. Is there an option in the app to set a timer to charge during these hours? I would appreciate your advice on this matter thanks.

I’ve just collected a cupra Born v3 and had a formentor which the keyless entry worked fine but doesn’t work with the Born but do I need to connect my keys through the infotainment system/settings as I’m trying to remember if I did that with my formentor but currently I’m pressing unlock/lock? i guess AC uses an electric compressor that runs without petrol engine on, right? Can you also show us the app on the phone and what can you do remotely? for e.g, can you start AC to precondition the car?

Iv’e got the VZ2 310ps, got Guard X when i bought it, not sure if it’s any good though, also i had the panoramic sunroof as an extra and had nothing but problems with it, just had a new sunroof casette fitted as the other would not close and now it is in again as the sunshade will not close fully, got a Cupra Leon hybrid as a loaner, not a bad car, car does look good when they are fully cleaned though. 👍

Newbie to Cupra Formentor, just got it. If I am picking someone up how do I unlock the passenger door without having to lean right over and manually doing it. Probably a dumb question but can’t see an unlock button ??

Mpg rubbish, infotainment rubbish. Grip rubbish. Looks good, but that's all. It's rubbish. Cannot wait to get rid after 8k from 1st September.

For some reason mine won't unlock using the handle sensor, but it will lock using it, it's only just started to not work

Is anyone here in the comments spotted this annoying & completely wasteful quirk with the Cupra PHEV. I open my door & it drains around 3% of my available charge. I just hoovered my car it wasn’t l plugged in & I don’t have rhe departure aircon enabled & whatever is going on it sucked 6% of my available charge . I didn’t press the start button & it’s daylight so no lights either. Where did 768W of power disappear to?? Does anyone know this can’t be normal surely this would be using the 12v battery like any normal petrol car!!

You can also turn your engine off and immediately lower your windscreen arm to the bottom position (single movement), this will put the wipers in the correct position without altering any settings via the computer.

Is there a way of disabling the Lane keep assist permanently instead of switching back on every time the car is started? It is horrid and invasive in my opinion. Having to press the screen four times every time I use it is ridiculous.

Bro i got the cupra leon it had 15k Kilometers its new but my battery is so fast draining so i drive almost every day for 2 hours charging in the car while driving. Before this i had a Golf 7gte ehybrid and with that car i never had to charge it because of the regeneration. Is there any way for a good regen but not every time the brake light goes on because if you drive on the highway every time you let the gas go the brake flashes.. pls help guys🙌🙌 i drive it in the cupra mode in its D not S

On my 22 plate Formentor lane assist is passive by default, you have to engage travel assist to make it active.

Is that music Foy Vance?

My only complaint with the formentor is the volume adjust and temp adjust buttons don't light up at night so you can't see what your pressing.

I have a VZ1 hybrid and the spec says it has the boot release by using your foot under the car. Is this true?

looked at the 201bhp 1.4 engine and it seemed to struggle on just the engine when the battery is empty. especially uphill, Is the 245bhp any better, whats the engine like on a motorway

the 201 bhp 1.4 plug in tends to suffer from power when the battery is empty. It really has to rev to join a motorway. Does yr 245 hav better power when no battery, especially if you have a long hill as those in Devon. cheers
