I'm a dude that has NEVER liked any sort of death scene because, quite frankly, and you can make fun of me for this all you want, they scare me. And while the one at 32:50 isn't *real*, the sudden explosion that cuts off Crimson 1's laughter and cuts into radio static that sounds eerily similar to a flatline is genuinely quite unsettling.

the OST and mission Kings is because Monarch and Crimsons logos are Monarch Butterflies and Monarch is also another name for a King hence the name Kings... if im not wrong Crimson says ""Monarch", you use the name of a KING, but what do you rule over, the dead?! The Federation fought for peace in this war, and you denied them that!" extra knowledge - the devs were inspired by AC Zero and Monarch is Chiper and Crimson is Pixy and in Pixy's words "More. You and I are opposite sides of the same coin. When we face each other, we can finally see our true selves" those words also apply to Monarch and Crimson. both Monarch and Cipher are Mercenary's Monarch and Crimson 1 are both Casscadian but Crimson 1 fought on the opposite side Cipher and Pixy were on the same side but you fight Pixy since he joins the other side little something else - one of Pixy's nicknames is King.

After 600 hours still enjoying Helldivers 2 so I would say it is worth it. Original game costs 40€ if you take the basic version and you can unlock almost everything by playing (some stuff are event related and if you wasn't an semi active player when the event was you could miss them. Example Malevelon Creek cape.) I would try it yourself before listening my or anyone else's opinion.

After 6 dives enjoying the newly buffed automatic weapons, I can say that they are quite fun. Not powerful, but fun.

I think the higher difficulty is bad it’s been a majority of full clears for me the ai need a buff but only in the highest difficulty

why do people not like the killzone update? we literally got free armor and weapons. besides if you wanted the stuff in the superstore its not like you HAVE to pay money to get it, unlike 90% of other games helldivers makes it easy to get the premium currency by just playing the game if you know how to.

The free stuff came after the controversy, initially it was going to be sold like the rest. What caused the uproar from what I recall is the items were much more pricy compared to the usual super store items.

@@Stolskai okay i get that but when any other Triple A game like COD or apex drops a single $60 skin thats completley cosmetic nobody blinks an eye but when helldivers releases a crossover in which every item can be reasonably accquired without spending a single dollar, everyone goes nuts???

@@Lanau7567 Oh thats what people are trying to do, is ok to have a shop like that. But not ok to price things that bad, a Warbond is so much better with less, and not everyone has the time to farm for hours, already payed for the game, no need to milk me more EDIT: Point is, people don't want the game to become a money bringer like cod, sony is still there, devs are good but there are some problems.

Some of my friends started playing just recently and i also started the game up after months and it instantly captured me again. It was so much fun seeing all the developments and how polished much of the game has become. Playing with my friends or just with random mates were really fun hours.

A small touch no one notices is the fact that in Kings, at the end, *you* are the final boss. Look at 28:08 in the video against Frost and Master Goose. They have their own boss pop up. 31:27, Crimson 1's boss popup appears. It even has the Peacekeeper icon and Crimson 1's own icon on display. 12:14, Crosstalk Squadron has their own boss popup. I can go on and on, but all the boss fights start out with a boss popup. Kings has it too. 37:04. But when you deplete Crimson 1's first three healthbars, something else happens. At 38:52, you see a new popup. You are the final boss of Project Wingman.

the soundtrack and graphics of this game I found to be superb. I also required one restart before I did a successful run. the story also kept me gripped even if it fell short in some places, but I admit that was because the setting of the game really catered to my specific tastes. I don't consider this a city builder game, I consider it a survival game. I think a sandbox mode would be boring so I get why its campaign only. sadly it doesn't feel quite complete, this game really needs a big update or two but sadly I don't think it will ever get one and yeah, I wished the trust was more of an issue. I'm gonna try a hard mode run sometime maybe in a few years.

The main theory on the deal is that Stardust gave them the country's supply of that material that Crimson I used to nuke it. Alternatively, the other theory is what you suggested: Sicario now owns the mikitary of Cascadia and it's thermal energy farms.

Thank you for the summary! I played the game on release & its nice to see folks taking the time to talk about it. Ill admit I could never wrap my head around the whole story with the sidequests, is there anywhere you'd recommend for reading/hearing an explanation of it? Also, its been over a year but I hope you recovered fully from your crash!

The number one advice I have is to pay attention to your surroundings,l and look out for your teammates! Shooting every enemy in sight will not get you more in-game currency in-game but it will make team wipes and wasting time fighting more likely. Yes, that patrol spawns to get in your way and will likely double back to get you, but every patrol or stationary group has the potential to summon a wave. Fight them on your terms when you have the ammo and defeating them gains you something. If someone is reloading and a patrol or charger is barreling on them, give them cover fire! Distract the enemy! Against the Terminids, don't run off on your own when Stalkers are in-play (Extreme and above difficulty). No weapon loadout will kill a stalker in-your-face before it combos you 20 meters away near-death. If 2 or more stalkers ambush you, you are considered dead as they will strike, retreat, cloak, and swap with other stalkers. If you're lucky, you'll get a stim off before the 2nd one finishes you. If you like to spam Stratgems or AOE weapons, make sure your team is not pushing the target area or in-front of you! Team-kills will drain your reinforcement pool! If the pool is empty, everyone needs to play conservatively and even abandon non-primary objectives; A team wipe at this point means everyone receives nothing! Avoid running around with activated offensive stratagems! If at anytime you get knocked down, you will drop an airstrike or orbital bombardment on yourself and have enough time to get up before you and nearby teammates get nuked. Enemies, environmental hazards, explosions, falling off a cliff, and friendly fire melee will cause this! Avoid spamming stratagems on extract. The dropship will leave after 1 peraon boards if it takes heavy damage, and that will reduce the mission rewards. If you or someone gets stuck or knocked down, they'll get killed.

I personally love heavy armour cause it let's me get away with a good amount of things like sitting on a rock and just hosing bullets out before I'm sniped by a rocket which I can comfortably survive because of the armour+fortified AND (afaik) crouching and proving reduces explosive damage including the rockets and allows you to "almost" walk away mostly fine
