Hi! I love car camping, and this is the first video of yours that I've come across. I really enjoy videos like these, so I subbed. I'm on summer break, and I'm going to enjoy the rest of your videos now. Thank you for sharing how you make everything work for you!

I just got one of these and I cannot figure out how the mirrors go on solid. It keeps drooping and moving without me touching it 😂😢

If you tighten all the screws and bolts, it will stay in place for a few rides. I’m tired of it too though so I’m replacing them.

This 80 year old adventurer has been road tripping like you for 15 years now. Recently someone rear ended my faithful Vibe. I just got a Crosstrek and I have returned from a short road trip, Vancouver B C to Boise, Idaho. The seats are very comfortable . I really appreciate the adaptive cruise control and 35 mpg. Maybe my Subastian del Camino, is the perfect RV. Bon voage Colin. George Paget

Couldn't you just turn the mirrors to the underside of the handlebar? I guess if they're not articulating mirrors than it wouldn't be feasible, but it' worth a try.
@ColinAdventures28 күн бұрын
I suppose that’s possible…not sure how visible they would be down there but I might look into that.

@ColinAdventuresАй бұрын
Most likely, yes! This exact bike is sold under a few different names and that looks like the exact same bike with the same specs. Obviously there is some risk they might not be the same but I bet the battery and other accessories from Burchda would work.

Hey Colin, I stumbled on your videos looking for some parts for my Subaru and browsed around your channel and I have just got a glimpse of your life and what's going on and what your doing, I just want to pray for you man. I love what you're doing and I love your heart. Father I pray for Colin, Lord give him the desires of his heart, I can see that he wants to change his life dramatically and better his life and that he wants to be financially free. I pray that Colin would have more than enough finances to keep his Subaru Crosstrek, Let money come into his hands unexpectedly, Checks in the mail, Gifts and Surprises that ALL of his dept would be paid off. I pray that the struggle to survive would be gone . That he is not alone! I also pray for his dad that he would be completely healed from whatever he is going through. I pray that Colins life would go the way he wants it and that opportunities would arise! God you see his humble working heart. Do not give up man, You have a heart that is so resilient. I pray God that you would bless the boat projects that Colin is working on. That all is work and effort is going somewhere! that it is not Void! I pray that anything that is trying to stop you will go! and would be made low! so that you can get through this dept so you can be free to do what you need to do! I pray all of this in Jesus name. I'm excited for you man! and I'm rooting for you!

I am choosing between a 33qt and 42qt dual zone alpicool. Am I buying a fridge that is too big for one person?
@ColinAdventuresАй бұрын
Just depends on how often you want to go grocery shopping! The fridge I have is barely enough for one person. If you have the room, the ones you’re looking at are probably a better option.

We’ve looked into getting a meal plan before but weren’t sure how worth it it would be. Looked like some really good stuff in there. I love watching your videos and seeing all the improvements you make to your life!
@ColinAdventuresАй бұрын
Thanks! Yeah, I’ve done produce boxes and CSAs in the past but this is my first meal kit. I think it’s worth it if you‘re really short on time. I have to say, I’ve definitely lost some weight as well. Not sure what the grocery stores around you are like but the food is definitely higher quality and more reasonably priced than what most stores have. If you actually have time to cook, I think CSAs are by far the best option.

My husband is taking his hazmat test too. Any suggestions? Is it easy?
@ColinAdventuresАй бұрын
It’s not difficult. Once you’ve taken the required course, it’s just a matter of finding all the practice tests you can. The background check took about 4 months for me so trying to remember everything after waiting so long was the biggest challenge.

Hello Colin I checked out your KZbin channel and found your content very nice and thumbnail construction perfect. But the problem is that you have not SEO your video properly due to which your video is not getting more views. If you do video SEO your video will be on the top of the search list and your audience will increase. I also noticed that your video tag is not using SEO keywords, the title-description-tag is not SEO friendly, and the channel tag is not being used correctly. I can fix these if you want. And I will SEO your videos to reach your real audience.

How does a car cost almost $1,000 a month?? Unless you bought or leased a $80k+ car
@ColinAdventures2 ай бұрын
Good question! I shortened the length of financing as much as possible. Also, the financing only accounts for $700 of $1000. The remainder is other operating expenses like fuel, insurance, and maintenance.

Hope you are doing well Colin. I like your videos. Always have. Believe it or not sometimes a boring bike ride is what people want to see. Remember not all landscapes of the world look the same and climate can be very different. The Pacific Northwest here is blessed being we get so much rain and everything is so green. Truth is sometimes I look for the boring city bike ride just to see what the town looks like and how people behave on the roads

True! I’ll have another chance to film that video next week. I think it should be interesting.

@@ColinAdventures awesome. Even if after you are done recording it and when you review the video. If you think it needs more just do a little voice over explaining the location every sees and maybe a little history of that part of the state. But you do hood bideos. Even if you think they might be a bit boring. I think many will still be entertained and find it interesting

I bought this bike 2 months ago and I absolutely love it. I live in a rural area so I go up into the mountains and ride around in the forest, just perfect. I had to set my handlebars all the way up for my lower back, and I replaced the pedals. That was a real positive change as I also pedal all the time. Great review.

@ColinAdventures3 ай бұрын
I received the bike and basket in about a week. The second battery would have arrived within a few days if it had been shipped to the right address. The instruction manual has a link to the app. You can search for YolinEBike in the App Store. I think that’s the controller manufacturer.

I've enjoyed this same ebike under a different brand name for the past year and a half. The best improvement I recommend is the tire choices I went with. On the rear I put a dual sport tire (Vee Mission Command) and thicker inner tube from Backou with Flat Out inside it. On the front I put a Vee Zigzag and kept the stock tube. It's easier to pedal, added to my range & top speed, coasts super well on pavement and still grips great offroad. Idk how the streets of Seattle are but I found the Flat Out or sealant in general to be a must! Inflate the Zigzag to 20psi but put the Mission Command at 17psi or so. They're listed as having the same width but the Zigzag has a somewhat wider tread, so if you don't give the Mission Command a bit o' squish the bike feels odd to turn.
@ColinAdventures3 ай бұрын
Thanks for the tire recommendations. I do plan on replacing these tires. I’m noticing the stock tires are wearing fast and I was thinking something with a little less rolling resistance and better on the street would be good. A lot of the roads and trails around here are rough but no punctures yet… it’s just a matter of time though.
@TentoesMe3 ай бұрын
I love mine, even though I mistakenly called them ridgeline in my video. They are not as flexible as my xero dillons that I wear to work. But I still hike barefoot. Maybe I'll do more in the winter now.👣

moter features..yes we wanta mess with..dang silly not to trick it wee bits..ie tire size..adds wee drop of speed..use gps to miles /per/hr..magnets..# often the manufacture # not what display uses??? look up??? these factory settings are generic.. your bikes not..its built, hence unknowns factor uses are set..factory setting can then be defined to manufactures spec's..dont know why....but 5 years 6 ebikes..not one came perfect...one was close,enough, but i do push..

@@ColinAdventures i ve looked..found, battery- controler matter most, controllers are set pre set, my wheel was 39 mag's..not 100 as came(manufacture info sheet google).on maker if you can fully set. I will/would advise seeing a "like" Grim technologies product where you can fully set features, 23 amp max out put will add speed to most without issue..grim can be set 10-65 amps i believe.. which reaches off road /motercycle, having the 20amp(normal) doesn't allow merge with traffic

I am looking to buy this one, but just not sure, how is the throttle only speed and range? customer support?
@ColinAdventures3 ай бұрын
Throttle only speed is basically the same as pedaling. Range depends a lot on how fast you’re going. Around here where everything is very hilly I can get about 20mi throttle only if I don’t try to conserve power. I actually had a problem that needed a call to customer support. They responded quickly. I needed a part shipped to me so it took a while but they were on top of it.

@@ColinAdventures ya the lectric bike I got is fun. The last time I had a bike I was a lot younger. So the ebike helps with long trails I might not have been able to do otherwise. Even the beach I can go miles and miles. Something that would take hours if I was on foot. So I'm glad I got one. My next purchase is a folding trailer for it.
