Why don't you just adjust that brake switch forward further? You see those teeth those are to set that switch in the correct position and adjust it as it wears!

Appreciate the video, it helped but after reading the comments I can also confirm that you don’t need a penny, All you do is turn the black adjuster with the threads to the left and it will let you bring it down so that it can make proper contact with the rubber piece. My cruise control works again. 👍🏼

question:there is a plastic brake stop pad that cracked and broke out of that slot you put the penny on. Without the penny would not the brake lights be on all the time and drain the battery? My stop pad broke;when replaced it turned off the brake light but didnt fix the cruise. Cruise light comes on but doesnt engage the cruise control system.

Took me 2-4 minutes after watching this video. Its’s going to be a bit difficult for some people but be patient. On the left side I had to pinch first. So easy! My filter does not look too bad but dirt is deep inside and smells very dusty so now my sinus is bothering me.
