Dvorak's string serenade is a wonderful work. One of Dvorak's early works but nevertheless stamped with his style of composition. The is something oddball regarding the second movement: the waltz. Clearly in C sharp minor, Dvorak gives the key signature as F sharp minor and just adds a sharp to every "d". There are modulations, of course, but the bulk of the "a" section is in C sharp minor. The key signature should reflect that. At measure 21 the piece modulates to A major for about 12 measures, but I don't think that the key signature should reflect A major just because of this section. The "B" section is in C sharp major, or rather the enharmonic equivalent D flat major.

interessant version, each string allows a good articulation (easier than a 80 musician version) then good expression and dynamic ! but i miss my clarinet sound on the descant !

Peteris Vasks is a GOD & most people in North America have never heard of him... Vasks has TUNES galore, as a composer if you haven't got TUNES change occupations Well done Sinfonia Toronto, Marina & the conductor etc I just realised so many tempo changes...

I see in your website we can buy the chamber orchestra parts of your arrangement. Is the arrangement only in the key it is performed, or do you have it as well arranged for high voice?
