I instantly knew what you meant for two reasons, I’m a genealogist (hobby) and two true crime stories came to mind, Bobby Joe Long, whose head injury should have been the headline and a couple more programs. I think one was on Criminal Minds. That is unfortunate that people have been cast in the worst possible light, when the syndrome had/has nothing to do with those behaviors. Thanks for educating us

Hi Ryan 🙋♀You just happened to show up on my homepage. I'm sorry to hear, listen and see that you are right about the information on the internet about your syndrome isn't at all what I see in you. I would never know you have that condition by looking at you. You look so much leaner and fitter than many men who don't have that condition. It's great you started this webpage for people like yourself that have this condition now have others to talk to. I wish you all the best and hope you have a great life.

Only thing I’ve ever heard about XXY people, is that some are born w/both male and female genitalia. Cannot say true or not, so I say nothing. I’ve never heard any of the things you listed. GOD’s blessings to all for a Happy, Healthy (pain free) New Year!

This isn't true, 99.9% are born with male genitalia.

I would never guess. Your tummy looks like an extra serving of potato chips, which might not be true, no big deal. Look at people in the grocery store! I had a boss that was XXX and she was intelligent and a good boss, in charge of over 40 computer programmers. She was several inches under 5 feet tall, made up for it with her voice.

My husband has Klinfelters Syndrome. His family always told him he’d not be able live on his own or basically thrive at life. He has challenges. Did the Androgel therapy; it caused ALOT of problems. It’s very important to have someone to know who YOU are. That medication was dangerous and was monitored but really changed him completely. Androgel is an anabolic steroid which can lead to coordinate artery disease and many more things they say being on it helps prevent different diseases. It’s actually just big pharma. There is a good bit of natural Remedies! Exercise is a great way to boost testosterone. I am in the medical field, I did the research and so much. I was 17 and this was thrown at me and basically said accept this as this is me or not but I hope you do. I’m so glad I was a smart young woman but it doesn’t come with a lot of difficulties.

Live your life, love your life, and don’t worry about what might be…doctors truly have NO CLUE ! seriously, nobody can predict what will happen to you, so don’t buy into the hype and bs. If I’d listened to all the doctors about my ‘condition’ I wouldn’t be here to say any of this to you. I’m 64 and shouldn’t have lived past 16, plus a whole lot of other crap they predicted that NEVER transpired, lol. You seem like a nice guy with a lovely doggie too, just think for yourself, and be happy 😃. From Susan 👋🏻🇦🇺☯️

@mapleext6 күн бұрын
Great idea to have a support group! Although I cannot tell you have any kind of syndrome by your appearance, the fact is that the diagnosis affects you and your loved ones. I applaud your efforts to educate all of us and especially to reach out to others who may be experiencing this. This is one way we all learn about things. Remember people - we all want to be accepted for who we are and we all can extend kindness to others. Live and let live -it’s really that simple.

Transguy here: major props to you for this. Subq into the belly-fat has been my go to since 2019. Having one sore quad all the time got on my nerves, even when I switched points to a 25. But my job also involves doing a lot of squat-lifts, walking, & climbing, so they're always a little sore anyway. I really hope the coming "gender ideology" crackdown in medicine misses y'all. I'm fine either way at this point (I'm 60), but I worry about people with intersex conditions being denied their hrt.

Our son just turned 17. He just had the special karyotype bloodwork at Hershey Medical Center. This is the 3rd time Hershey has taken his blood. The first 2 times, we were told there were "lab accidents" that prevented getting a result. The first blood draw, we were told the blood was "spun" in the lab by mistake so they didn't have results. The 2nd time we were told it was placed in the wrong color tube. I'm not sure what is going on......the longer we wait, the more stressful it is. Hershey Medical Center is a world renown facility. So last week, we went back for a 3rd blood draw for the karyotype testing. It will take 2 weeks for us to get the results. If J. has Kleinfelters we will be fine, it's just the waiting. I keep wondering if his genetic make-up is even more complicated, they just don't want to say, until absolutely certain. J. is 17 has a history of autism, gynocamastia, speach and motor skill delay and other social and emotional differences. He is our only child and our miracle. We love him so very much, but as a family it is so hard waiting for results. Thank you guys for sharing your story because I am doing research while I wait.
