I love how Simone keeps it real. This is not an enlightening experience. Yeah, you may have learned to never commit crimes again (like in Simones's case), but you can learn that lesson by getting arrested, you don't have you be put in a trap and cut off a part of your body. Its bullshit, like Simone said. If anything, this would take away quality of life. Sure, maybe you have a renewed outlook on life, but it comes at the cost of your new life being hampered by immense trauma and disability. Also, Tanedra Howard is an incredible actress. She is so good at portraying fear, pain, rage and then finally trauma in this scene. It's even crazier considering that she won her saw VI role through an acting competition with zero previous acting experience, and she competed against other ladies who had years of acting experience under their belts. It shows how talented she is to be able to give such a convincing performance with no training, because I myself, as an actor can say acting is not easy and its impressive when a non-actor can act better than experienced actors.

If Gordon said "See Saw in Theaters" in that voice, people would be running for the theaters.

Something I noticed is that most of the known victims here are from Saw 5 and 6 which were after John died and Hoffman took over and conveniently when the traps got more fucked up. I'm nit necessarily trying to defend Johns philosophy. Sure it makes sense, but it's not without its flaws. But I think Hoffman tainted Johns philosophy and made it more about sadism than actually trying to help people. Yes, John picked most the people and probably designed some of the traps that we see at this point. But let's not forget that Hoffman is just as skilled not just with traps but also with audio. We've seen this with the pendulum in saw 5. If Hoffman can do it once he can do it again. It was probably his voice and his design that Simone was in. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if some of the new victims that we saw in this movie were people Hoffman chose instead of John because that lawn mower trap seemed way to risky. Again, not saying that Johns merhods are perfect, but there is definitely a difference between his work and Hoffman.

They should have left this extended version of the scene in the film, as it may actually be the best and most interesting moment of Saw 3D. Gordon's intervention at the end is cringe though, it feels unconvincing and very out of character, it's creepy and ridiculous. The dude was a normal guy back in Saw, but in this "final chapter", he feels like a total psycho. Also, I hate the idea of him being a Jigsaw "follower". Because of John, not only Gordon's INNOCENT wife and daughter were held hostage under very distressing conditions, but they also could have been MURDERED. But somehow, we are led to believe that Dr. Gordon gained some true respect or even admiration for the man responsible for the traumatic and morally extremely reprehensible event he and his family went through? WTF?!

This fucker had the nerve to stand in front of a group of real Jigsaw survivors and preach to them while acting like he knew anything about what they went through when he knew that he was lying straight to their faces. What a piece of shit.
