Watched your video a few times before starting ours. We constructed it today and did it in 3 to 4 hours! I have COPD w/emphysema plus asthma and required many moments of needing to catch my breath. We are both over 65 and well, we did it! Your video was extremely helpful and easy to follow. Our only setback was trying to install the door lock housings. For some odd reason, we were stuck for far too long trying to install them on the inside part of the doors. We rewatched your video numerous times till it hit me that those housings needed to be on the outside! Argh! Then it was a piece of cake. Next problem was with the hinges after installing the middle hinge first, both sides, it took patience and some paint mixing sticks to shim the rest. Thank you for your helpful KZbin video🙏🏼💯👏🏼❤️

Excellent instructions and your skills are great. I'm debating buying this shed, and your video was very helpful. Still undecided, though. If I get it I will put a French Cleat system on the rear wall; just one board of plywood with the cleats. That would give me optimum flexibility. Love how you pronounce "roof".

These lights are awesome. The one thing I would caution about is using the right type of silicone with electrical wiring. Loctite SI 5990 is a non-corrosive silicone that can be used with electrical wiring. Non-corrosive silicone is what you want other silicone can corrode copper and other metals.

Thanks so much for your wonderful video. I got no problem doing it on gravel like you did too. You should do a follow-up video to show everyone how it’s not “offkilter“ by doing your shed on gravel. This is not fine furniture people I had a shed on gravel for 20 yearsand it was just fine and I sun and tiedowns for when it gets windy so I don’t know what the big stink is everybody scared to void their warranty

I love this idea! I was actually looking to see if I could fix a tiny hole in my dogs pool and going to try this instead! And I love the idea of adding the hose back at the end because I want to be able to drain the water away from where I have to put the pool on my patio! I’ll let you know how that works!

Nice bench. I like the creativity. I am a new woodworker and am working on !y workbench now. It will not be as fancy as yours though. I am only. Putting one 3/4 piece of plywood on top. How deep should dog holes be? Should I add more plywood? The plywood is not inlaid like yours it sits on top of 2/4 frame and support.
@carlytackles3 ай бұрын
Welcome to woodworking!!! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. I would have the dog holes go completely through. Some of the accessories have a longer 3/4” shaft. Before I made my workbench, i watched youtube videos, many recommended at least 2 sheets of 3/4” plywood. The great thing about woodworking is you can always build another workbench as you learn what you like and don’t like. Think of it as a prototype.

@carlytackles hi. Thanks. I also wanted to ask you how to make something plum. My workbench on one diagonal side is 95 5/8 and the other side is 95 7/16. How do I get it even?
@carlytackles3 ай бұрын
@businessleadership2717 if this is a solid piece like a sheet of plywood, you will have to make some cuts to ensure corners are 90 and sides are same lengths. If it is something like a frame, its normally my angles in the corner, especially if i used miters, that are causing me issues. Before assembly, can use clamps to make sure corners are square and are good to go before glueing or fastening. Also, never trust a manufacturer edge is 90. I typically cut 2x4 ends off at the miter saw before starting measurements.

Thanks,just bought mine and was confused on the bevel cut adjustment. Edit: For anyone like me who still couldn't get tilt to work, check the troubleshooting section to figure out how to adjust the bolts in the back for bevel tension and lock arm tension. The smaller bolt you loosen to reduce friction on the lock arm and the larger bolt you loosen to allow the saw to tilt for a bevel cut, and vice versa for tightening.

How far do the legs stick out at the bottom from the sides?
@carlytackles5 ай бұрын
The manual says that when the pool is full of water the width of the pool, including base of frame is 19’ x 10’. I find that pretty close to accurate. It might extend a little farther

@marekfucila52335 ай бұрын
Nice. Eventually you could make the downward pipe longer up to the ground and mage there 90 degree angle to the hose. Then it would be self-supporting.

Because i drilled into the board so bolt was flush, i used 1-1/2”. But if you just wanted the bolt to sit proud of 2x4, 2”

Can the pool be moved once is set up but still empty? Can I drag it empty?
@carlytackles5 ай бұрын
For setup- you are going to want to allow for room to work and fully extend the u frames. The manual says the frame (when setup) will stick out an extra foot making your total pool dimension 10’ x 19’. I would allow for more room. If I could do it over, i would extend that paver width - my length was fine. The frame needs to hit the center of the support- ours ended up hitting the outside edge of pavers and it caused them to shift.
@carlytackles5 ай бұрын
Not easily. There is weight but the problem is more with the frames. They don’t support the pool well until water is it. They are going to fall in or out when you move it and will need to be setup again. The frames stand and extend to their proper place once filled with water.
@edil.lopezm94435 ай бұрын
I'm gonna set up mine soon. How far from the eage of my deck I should set the legs up? .
@carlytackles5 ай бұрын
The legs when setup, take up an extra foot (10’ x19’) according to the manual. One thing to think about is that to setup the pool the u frame have to lay full flat and out away from pool. If the deck has a railing- make sure you allow for the length of the U frame on each side plus the pool dimensions or your setup will be difficult

I would recommend buying the Intex one of price is still reasonable. Back when pool supplies were extremely hard to find during peak of covid- this is an option to make your own so you can have a skimmer.

@carlytackles5 ай бұрын
@bigtaco956 is the the the bottom portion level front to back and left to right? Thats all i can think of if its hard to close. There is a slant in the front of the bottom that doors rub against to help lift it up and then it falls into the notch- its not a rough close though.
