Well... I listened to Eric's show "In Performance" every evening back when it aired in the 90s & early 2000s. In MY naked eyes😳👁👁, those were the days when CBC Radio was at its very best. Then later, they got rid of all those great classical music shows, and started to sound like just another FM station. It was a huge letdown for me, and I never thought they had to "re-invent" the CBC. I just want it to go back to the way it was

Giving the government power, Any power means it's gonna be used and abused as has been proven every single time thru out history.

This was genocide, pure and simple. I admire a lot Mr David Serkoak and Lady Mary Anowtalik, their grit and resilience, but the compensation of this agreement was peanuts to the suffering caused. The relocations were akin to attempted murder. And they got successful in quite some cases. But government is covering his own mistakes, and RCMP is not being held accountable for it. So, I truly commend Mr David Serkoak, because his sense of forgiveness is out to the same level of Mr Nelson Mandela. He is made of some very hard and noble material that our politicians and leaders aren't. He is a true story of a Nobel Peace Prize. Keep up the good job, great and wise man, and I hope this little compensation could allow your people to better write, publish and perpetuate your history and give some kind of support for them. Long live David and the Ahiarmiut.
