On first: The latest BIOS are A34... not A14! 🤣 Why AHCI??? IRRT is Correct, the only "problem" on this computer is the lag creating for eSATA ports (USB with eSATA port and same double port on Docking station). I try this and this is the only way for having a quick performing disks for Win10 (and Intel SATA driver from 2023, v18.37.7.1013) but is FUNDAMENTAL using IRRT mode and Disable eSATA ports on other BIOS menu. Msg Writen on E6400 with T9900, 8GB RAM and Win10 BIOS A34 (and proudly with an E6410 (NVidia GPU) with 4cores i7-840qm, and SIXTEEN 16 GB RAM, A17 BIOS)

Running a 3050 and 3070 here with W11 Pro. They work great. You can use the printed servicecode to connect to Dell support. Install their Dell Command software and you will still get frequent like BIOS or driver updates, despite them originally where delivered with W10.

just wondering - did u install with legacy or uefi. i remember a few years back when i had one, uefi wouldnt boot after install. even installing from PXE didnt work. many others online seem to have that issue from pcs with uefi from that era especially the 390, im guessing the uefi is too old for windows 10 to work under? bios itself was also updated

That's my question too but I looked it up and from what I read the E6530 can be upgraded to 16GB RAM max. I just bought an extra 8GB RAM so I'm going to attempt to upgrade it. I've been working on computers since the 90s so it's no biggie for me. However I don't like working on laptops lol

You have solved my issue completely. That last part about copy/pasting the actual driver folders out is what I was missing after unzipping the .exe with 7zip, I was also looking int the wrong spot. Thanks for your help

I usually download the Install for the particular card before hand, that way you're all set from the get go! Something to think about.
