My dues are paid. One thing I learnt was men of honour don't shake hands or take favours! Respects. This song's old as the hills. 😊

maybe a rehearsal woulda been nice? What rickety thing. Loved everything about that band, they were an awesome cut above the usual top 40 punters. Their records were 3 dimensional technicolor blasts of talent, they were tight and consistent.

I agree. This concert is about having fun and reminiscing over old times. As it should be. That's different than trying to literally live in the past.

Good to hear the old classic, and I think they sang and played it well, but the audio was freckin terrible. And two drumners? Really?

John Sebastian used to be a great guitarist and singer. Well, I will say he was never a fantastic singer but he could sing with feeling. But, for the past quarter century he has sounded just awful. I’m glad that he did not attempt to sing lead here. But, his guitar playing has also degenerated a great deal.

Love the song, happy that these guys are still at it. Personally though, I’ve reached the point that I can’t do nostalgia acts. Two hour shows with 15 minutes of music. The song is on my playlist though, so they’re still getting paid by me.

Thats the problem with some live stage acts, all this pre song small talk jibber-jabber. Just announce the tune and play! The other thing is why do they need 20 musicisns to recreate the original studio cut. They played it in the day live with the 4 members and did just fine..incredible, and TWO drummers?..why?
