The balance of sound effects and your audio is fine on this side of the screen 😊 also, the monster sound effects pan L/R in headphones which seems like a pretty advanced feature for this era game lol

@@JVGJ-e9o Theres a windows key to the right of the left ctrl key. I used windows-shift-s to draw a box around the room you were in. Then I pasted that into Microsoft paint. Then keep doing that and just make sure to match the pixels up. At the end I brushed out the weird boundaries and all the monsters

How much info did the original manual give you, like the roses trick or how would you have learned those secrets back in the day? I like how the game really lets you explore as you feel like but doesn’t prevent you from pursuing one particular path through the game vs another. I mean, there are some self correcting moments if you don’t have certain things lol, but you have to figure that out!

@@RobertColburn-o9p I actually have not read my old manual, so I don’t remember! Maybe I’ll go dig it out in the garage and take a peek at it. I think it told you about the roses. But also there were computer game publications back in the day that would give you a little hints every now and then. Or talking to friends that played the game or heard of other people playing the game. I’m specifically trying not to read too much about it so I can be rediscovering all of these golden nuggets as they happen lol.
