We have the seat bidets and bidet hose sprayers, just not the extra bathroom fixture except in very expensive homes. Requires major architectural and plumbing changes for it. WWII soldiers saw bidets in Europe used mostly by prostitutes and those men didn't feel it necessary to bring it to the US on that reputation alone, never mind the cleanliness aspect of it. Japan has led the way for us to get it.

Hate to say this but, seems like the short flush is actually a more complete flush (in this instance at least). The long flush never emptied the bowl.

It's a BORIT Tool for anyone interested. It used gas pipe and couplers for the rod. The tool allows for water to be injected though a garden hose.

This looks like a BORIT tool. It uses standard gas pipe and a 1/2" drill. It injects water into the pipe and they have a few different bits that screw on the end of the pipe. You can use a coupling to attach more pieces of pipe for longer bores.
