This is one of the least scary "horror movie" I've seen. But after experiencing sleep paralysis, i still had to pause and take break because of nausea, 500 heart rate and suffocating lmao. It s at the same time one of the softest sleep paralysis i ve heard of but filming editing and soundtrack is surprisingly really well done to be considered as a great simulation. For people sceptic about sleep paralysis, imagine 18+ rated version of this (because of gore and/or SA), in 74863259 dimensions

I’ve learned to control these and lucid dream. This happens to me after a heavy night of drinking, I wake up for a little while go back to sleep and instantly get thrown into lucid dreaming, hallucinating like crazy, I can tell when it’s gonna happen even before I sleep again, because waking up and going back to sleep will do that. I hallucinated a white demon on my bedroom floor when I fully woke up after 2 minutes once. It morphed into a bunny rabbit, then into a demonic white creature so I got scared. Then I look away and hide in my bed, I hear it rustling on some bag, I look back and it’s gone, I go downstairs terrified. Another time I heard my own voice shouting and screaming at me, saying really horrible things. But the voice was mine as if someone else was hearing me, not how my voice sounds to me. That didn’t last long, still scary. Today I had another one when waking up after drinking last night. Very very depressing violin music was playing, and coughing behind me as if there were an audience. This was after my lucid dream.

A similar thing happened when I was trying to pull an all nighter, when it hit 3 in the morning, i was getting exhausted, when my eyes were closed, i saw a picture of a nonexistent person with a deformed face, when the picture in my mind was playing, it had music that sounded distorted, it scared me, so i slept on the couch with the TV on. The end!

The random transitions to new locations that somehow feel organic, the weird perspective shifts like when the stairway is upside down, the noises that clue you into what you're supposed to be feeling that influence the dream's course... it's perfect man.

This is pretty accurate. I sometimes here my named being called, all the way to a dark figure crawling on my bed. I can physically feel the bed moving when it’s crawling. Here’s a pro tip, keep your eyes closed when it’s happening. It’s not as terrifying.

Mine are like a dream that lasts for a fraction of a second, but complete. I'll jar awake and be unsure if it actually happened. It makes complete sense for a second, but as I wake up more I realize it was complete nonsense, and that's if I can even remember it. I'll start talking too, as if I was having a conversation with someone, and my bf thinks I'm messing around with him. It's kind of embarrassing. I'll act like I was being silly or something. He doesn't understand. I'll also imagine entire scenarios that hadn't happened. I know I'm going to hallucinate when I involuntarily moan as I'm falling asleep.

This was amazing! I feel like I should be paying to see this I like how it gets more character driven the longer it goes on, and the dream sequences are pretty much 100% accurate to how they feel I've been trying to replicate dreams/nightmares in my Minecraft series, so seeing it be done so well here is really cool, since so few creators try to replicate dreams. Seriously great work!

What you really can't simulate are the delusions. I get a lot of this stuff you showed but I also get these parts where I'm absolutely convinced that I'm in France or that I own a hamster farm for a split second. Honestly I've gotten to the point where I am half thankful for the hypnagogic hallucinations. I have such bad insomnia that it's good to know that I'll be asleep in a few minutes.

Well that's weird, pressing mute doesn't turn off the sound, it only reduces it. IRL, I know some people have said that they heard humming noises and various other noises but I doubt you'd hear the kind of mechanical-engine-music sound like in this video. What you might experience is waking up on some kind of bed or table, and seeing figures around you, and equipment. Generally, people regain consciousness to find themselves back exactly where they were, or near where they were.
