It's a persephone song. About how Hades(God of the dead king of the underworld) stole persephone(formerly known as kore aka maiden goddess of spring newly minted as persephone the queen of death and life) from the mortal realm to be his wife. It sounds awful but it's a sweeter story than you'd think...kinda. if you like romance and Greek lore I'd suggest you read lore olympus.

The girl i fell for sent me this song years ago, i still come every once in a while to take a listen and daydream about her. I love watching her from afar as she goes on with life, even though we are not so close anymore. Never in my life i believed the idea that a person could admire or even love another for almost a decade or so, but now, after so many years, i finally understand... I know there is a big possibility she's reading this right now. I kinda feel ashamed by the idea of her reading this kind of confession, but i sure hope one day i get the opportunity to kneel down before her and ask the big question i've been holding on for so long. Kinda gives me butterflies to the stomach lol.

What an amazingly talented woman you are. Your voice is such a huge comfort to me, thank you so much for uploading here. Realistically, I don't know the first thing about you, I just know your name, the songs you've written over the years and that you sing incredibly well, but despite me being a stranger and you being a stranger to me in turn I still hope you're doing well out there. I love this so much! I'm not the biggest fan of the solid 30 seconds at the end where its just sorta lofi music but thats just my opinion. Otherwise it is a great song!
