I remember it took me like 5 times longer just to beat the plant section on my first playthrough, very impressive run!

Thank you very much, But on your first playthrough you are bound to play for a long time because you'd have no idea about the game. It takes some time to understand the strategies and correct paths to take. Also all actions are tight, one small mistake can cost you the run:(

World record of MGS2 that takes more than 1 hour? ....and on very easy? I dont clain to ne a hot shot but... that's a lilttle too slow if you ask me... EDIT: Maybe not much practice....

@void5823 It is actually the World Record, I submitted my run on Speedrun.com and I’m first:) It took a bit of practice to know the strategies but I made it, and I can do better!

First time is by default NEVER a speed run, buddy... but 3 hours? Maybe you're new to the series? Got caught alot? ...boss was tough on you? Cause the story kinda carries you, if you didnt know where to go, or what to do, just call Otacon...

When I was young and new to MGS2, I didn’t even know which was the action button (after playing MGS1 I thought it was Circle) It is normal to take long in Tanker incident, but take this series slow and understand it because it is one of the best! Also I’m speedrunning because I know exactly what I need to do to get the least time possible:)

I remember my first time playing MGS2 as well and it took me days to understand the controls and where to go. So it’s normal to take some time :))

It’s the Master Collection on PS5. It’s the HD version of the port that came out in 2011
