I think i was in the minority but I strongly hated this game and never understood why people loved it so much. I used the guides and got quite far, but it was a constant headache with no sense of achievement 😕

Ни разу не встречал такой игры. Очень уж похожа на проект "The Suffering", но с коррекцией на возможности платформы. И всё же звуки в игре, конечно, криповые. Ближе к концу игровой процесс и вовсе становится очень похож на "Обитель Зла, часть 8: Деревня". P.S. Мне показалось, или тут звуки громкоговорителя взяты из первой части Half-Life? P.P.S. Поздравляю с прохождением игры!

I never completed this i loved. Funny fact: I fought Vemon and never remembered how i figured out the puzzle to fight him on this one level and i never defeated him.

This game had a lot of potential, but the gameplay itself is what ruins the whole game. Cheap hits, bad level design, Logan's claws do not do much damage to any enemy, little to no health powerups. There are no special moves. No special attacks. It is just constantly hitting enemies with the same basic attacks over and over again. No level up system either. Many enemies that take about 120 hits or more to get past. Some boss fights take about 1,000 hits or more to beat. The final boss is a total pushover. You do all that hard work to get to the end boss and he is beaten in just a few minutes. Very unsatisifying. Some levels were confusing mazes that have no map to them. You have no idea where you are going in those mazes. You have to go through the maze by trial and error. About the only thing that was good about the Super Nintendo version was the music, the graphics, and the storyline. Everything else about the game is absurdly frustrating and a trainwreck to play. The Super Nintendo version has no fun value in it. There is nothing fun about this game. You do not get a sense of fun in this entire game at all. It is just too much of a chore to go through the frustrating levels. There are better comic book / Marvel / X-Men games on the Super Nintendo than this Wolverine game. Overall, the Sega Genesis version of Wolverine Adamantium Rage was so much better. This is one of those few times when the Sega Genesis version is superior to the Super Nintendo version of a game. This Super Nintendo game would have been much better if the gameplay was not frustrating, if the game was a fun action platformer, if it did not take 120 hits or more to get past enemies, if it did not take over 1,000 hits or more to get past bosses, and Wolverine's claws actually did more damage per hit. Overall, I do not recommend this game to anyone whatsoever. Only unless you want to see what a frustrating X-Men game looks like, or if you ever wondered where some of Wolverine's overall design and wall climbing ability came from that would show up in many other Marvel games in The 90's and on. Otherwise, there is no reason to play this game at all. Save yourself the headache. I would not even try to play this Super Nintendo version of this game without Game Genie cheat codes. It is not because the game is too hard, it is because you are too underpowered throughout the entire game from beginning to end. This Super Nintendo version of the game is barely even playable the way that it is normally without cheat codes. And I use to think that Spider-Man and The X-Men Arcade's Revenge game was the worst Marvel / X-Men game on the Super Nintendo. That was before I came across this Wolverine Super Nintendo game. I can actually say that this Wolverine Super Nintendo game is the worst Marvel game and the worst X-Men game on the Super Nintendo system. Stay away from this version of the game. Play the Sega Genesis version instead. I would not say that this is the worst Super Nintendo game. I am sure there are a few others that are far worse than this, but I would say that this Wolverine Super Nintendo game is definitely on the list of a top 10 or top 25 list of worst Super Nintendo games. I would say that the Wolverine game on The NES system was far superior to this terrible Super Nintendo Wolverine game. At least The NES Wolverine game was playable, had good gameplay, other X-Men helped you, and it had fun to it. This Super Nintendo Wolverine game has none of that at all.
