@@krugy562 not cheaper at all. they are marketed as for 'offroading' when it's a farm jack. it's for lifting up farm implements inches off the ground.

Very dangerous what you have done!! You´ve kept your hand holding the top while lifting, and if the car roll, you can say goodbye to your fingers. Then... You have your head and part of the arms in between the lever and the body of the hi-lift.

Aside from the insufficient jacking point, hitting the reverse lever while the handle is not raised with your head over the bar is the most smooth-brained thing I have ever seen someone do with one of these jacks

Today we show solutions to common problems with jacks. For example, first turn tighten the valve clockwise .if the jack is not used for a long time, the steel balls inside will stick, making it difficult to lift the jack. Turn the jack upside down and hit it with a hammer to solve the problem.

Your gonna have to keep jacking if you want those rear tires to come off the ground. Also remember your creating a pivot point being in the center of the vehicle, she's bound to to lean and fall driver or passenger.. I'd pick a corner

@@rickobrien4025 that's the rear hitch not the bumper. I remember back in those days people would always tell new drivers not to trust the steel bumper for any sort of jacking. I think there was even a commercial about it at one point.

Tip: don't do what this guy does, these jacks are dangerous enough without knowing the inherent danger of the loading on the handle when mechanism is switched to the lowering position Hitting the reverse lever with the handle down and his head over the bar is not what I would call a "great how to video"
