I do hope those impacted are drawn closer to Christ. Many of their elected leaders have politicized the response. Interestingly I know the history of some of those regions personally. Identity politics, white supremacy, and a romanticized Antebellum South reigned supreme in much of the disaster zone. I do hope they realize ones race and politics won't save you. Prayers for structural, social and cultural change.

Whew! Powerful words 💪 being transparent about the new diagnosis and chosing to document the journey so that others may reminded that life's not over. But living more intentionally. I think a monthly Zoom call would be a great motivator for all of us dealing with life's challenges.
