There is still about 10km gravel, the rest are sealed unfortunately..

My husband and 2 friends did it in March rode from Greymouth to the top of the north island and back on a two week trip. They went to some stunning places. He has been the most southern point of South island all the way to the most northern point of the North island on his bike Honda Vfr 800

Nice road! Good to see some Afrikaner bikers. I am from South africa and bought my first bike 2 years ago. Honda rebel 500CMX. Live in the West Coast. Love the freedom riding brings. Safe travels!

Maar wat n pragtige destinasie. Bly op die Weskus van die Suide eiland. My man het nou net terug gekom van twee weke in die Noord eiland op sy Honda vfr 800. Op met Oos kus af met Weskus. Tot by Cape Reinga gegaan. Nz is n pragtige plek. Baie mooi video!

Thanks a lot, we are using Gopro 8 Black cameras on the bikes. Make sure you set the fps setting to the highest for clear pictures. (Not like our first video..)
