We are well past the midway point and I have yet to hear anything about makeup and beauty.

Hollywood is fictional nothing real about it. Great video. Most people don't realize that Egypt was ruled not only by Romans but the Greeks. England and Germany have a lot of artifacts from ancient Egypt and other countries of Africa in their museums. The history is not lost, it is being hidden.

Is there any evidence that Egyptians used chalk lines to designate foundation placement? Sine these small blocks could be carried by non-masons, I am wondering how they managed a sense of symmetry.

Dr Colleen Darnell and Professor John Darnell, My name is Hannah Male and I am getting in touch because we share similar Egyptology interests. I am sending an email as well. I am currently living in Chester with my Dad and step-mom while working with Dr. Steven Vinson to gather funding to attend Indiana University, Bloomington campus in the Fall 2024 or Spring 2025 semester (also gathering funding through GoFundMe campaign and part time work). My father happened to see both of you on Sunday at the Chester Market. I love your KZbin Channel! any academic who isn't afraid to use the term "enchantment" gets my full support 🙂 the glyphs are highly magical when read, written and spoken. king tut was highly protected by magic spells (darling of the priesthood , since he abolished his fathers "atum" one god idea: 18th dynasty), spell protection is also why the second and third shrines (probably) remained undisturbed (although grave robbers had entered in antiquity). some have stated tut's unbroken seals read: "death will come on swift wings to all who disturb the king's rest" maybe colleen or john will read this and confirm 😉 (i've always wanted to know)!

absolutely awesome 💛 when colleen slips in "during the reign of a king called scorpion" , i found myself remembering "but he was thought to be pure myth" (from the mummy 2 film) 😋.. bringing this incredible language to life is done beautifully here. i've reviewed so many dry, academic tutorials on the glyphs that will send you to sleep in a heartbeat. (academics always try to make glyphs relate to english phonetic alphabets): no... sacred glyphs are carved because they are pure, 3D ideograms that operate at a psychic level within our minds. what some might call "magic". a way into glyphs is the book of the dead, because most (maybe all) true temple glyphs are magic spells... o, and be careful, my brothers and sisters: i had very unusual (and powerful) experiences writing glyphs as a child... if colleen and john ever read this, i'd love them to attempt a translation from nefertari's tomb walls (featuring incredibly colorful glyphs that support and describe her souls journey through the duat). [QV66] specifically, the eastern and western walls showing nefertari receiving some kind of guidance (or energy) from isis, serket and hathor. in fact, anyone with a deeper interest in glyph meanings is welcome to contact me. peace: blessings of the hathors to you and yours. 🟡

The double portrait of man and wife shows the skin of the wife very white, at least much more white than that of the man. Was she living mostly indoors ? Were they of the same race? Is she perhaps Greek or North European? Is it really her husband ? Is there additional evidence for that ? Was he her personal assistent? Were there Euneuchs in Egypt ? Many questions 😀😀
