It’s been tested and is obviously very helpful and just makes complete sense from a theoretical perspective. Chalk can fill all of the holes that create friction, making the holds more slippery.

All depends on the problem, sometimes it helps a lot to be shorter. A lot of the times I find myself in very awkward and crammed positions because I’m tall. Then I see a shorter person drop a knee and otherwise look like they’re standing straight up while I’m practically kneeling and ducking

@@TheLifeofJaayyI agree that it depends on the problem but more often than not being tall is such a huge advantage. Tall people don’t even realize how much of an advantage they have and just say that being short has its advantages as well.

I understand what you’re saying about not wearing socks but I personally climb with socks because the only shoes I could get were slightly too big for me, and the socks allow me to get proper power delivery through the toe
@ST-vt4nu
@ST-vt4nu Күн бұрын
If your shoes are too big it means you're not gonna slide around with sweaty feet. I just like it cause it makes it easier to take the shoes on and off and causes less friction. Without theres always an area that bugs me and might even cause blisters.
