LOL yeah... I knew Huberman was a snake oil salesman specifically because he always had something to sell. You can't buy health in a bag or box with a barcode. The "Secret" to health? It's pretty obvious, actually. Put in your face hole 70%+ of the ACTUAL essential fatty acids and amino acids (in its natural form/not processed), get out in the for realzie sun, do the exercise that you can/will do, don't stress, find your tribe, and sleep well. I literally reversed 40+ chronic diseases (to include type 2 diabetes and hypothyroidism) in 3 years by doing this. I don't need supplements or the bag of pharmaceuticals that I used to take. We didn't evolve to need all this STUFF. We evolved to need the sun, the earth, the hunt, sleep, salt, community, and water.

Andrew H. said from the beginning that blocking and avoiding bright blue light is beneficial in the evening, he, however said in that clip in the beginning, that it makes no diffrence IF, people are viewing any source of bright lights in the evening... I think he did a really good job of explaining the mechanism for all this if you would just listen to the full episodes...

Hi Scott, I enjoy watching your exposés, even though they sometimes target people I look up to. However, this time, I felt that you went overboard and with a "hot take", on basically a nothingburger - Huberman was given a generic personal question ("how do YOU deal with..."), and he gave a pretty lengthy and maybe even honestly self-reflective answer to it. I did not enjoy this "react" style of what felt like dragging through the mud, but I will definitely keep watching the investigative pieces.

Which would mean you would also have to study the lack of free will and creative appreciation in those philosophies as well. The Mercy and justice balance should also be examined.

The disclaimer in Huberman`s podcasts has always made me IRATE. I`m a postdoc in astrophysics at a major research institute. Do you know how much I earn? 32k a year, before taxes. This guy earns way over 100k as a Stanford professor. So, don't try to feed me this bullshit that you're so worried about people`s health that you started this podcast but "oh, poor me can't keep doing it without the shady sponsoships". He knows that his credentials and status will make people believe him and trust what he sells, so the podcast is just a venue to get rich

Every once in a while youtuber will recommend me a new breadtuber, each one more of a piece of work than the last. I never thought I'd see the day where I stumble on one who literally just tells you to take the blue pill though. No fan of Andrew Huberman, and I really don't care about him. I just enjoyed connecting the jigsaw piece together that basically confirmed my hunch. From the "this guy is wrong about everything" to the lack on an X account, it all makes sense.

Some 15-20 years ago he was making rounds on Dutch talkshows with his Wim Hof Method (WHM). Wim has an identical twin brother, Andre, who is just as resistant against cold but doesn't practice WHM, and has a completely different life style. They agreed to a scientific study (University of Maastricht if I remember correctly) and to make a long story short; they're mutants. I always skip his ADs. So the real question is whether the sponsorships affect/reflect what he says on his podcasts. Or if its just a separate cash-grab to keep the lights on. In other words, whether his actual stance when asked will conflict with current science. So I'll keep watching to see if you tackle that..
