Cool foz mate. Couple Qs. Do you think the SH or the SJ would be the better bet for an offroader? And who'd you go through for cert?
@RumbleOverland Жыл бұрын
Cheers! Probably about the same to be honest. SH has a proper auto vs CVT, but SJ has X-Mode. Ian McLachlan in Chch is the cert guy I used.

Bro I love your videos! Been tempted to ditch the old Hilux Surf for something like a SH Foz to go on little excursions in the South Island. What's it like going through river crossings? Especially with it being a low mounted petrol engine. Cheers.
@RumbleOverland Жыл бұрын
Cheers! Yeah they’re good all round wagon. Water crossings aren’t bad, snorkel, extended breathers and relocated ECU help. As long as you don’t try too deep, they have a tendency to float!

Cant match those south island views eh. First time i went up coronet was with a bunch of australian mates, amazing there aren't more serious accidents, for a main road the unsealed slope and blind corners with tourists barreling around at speed, you can see why there are a few vehicles down in the valleys. Can't imagine it ends well. Great video's mate.
