The spring special was mainly a Base 318-2bbl-150hp the sport stipes were a little bit different than the Rallye models my father had one that he bought brand new. Only had it 2 years and only got like 13 mpg no matter what octane you used.

I had a very similar car. Except mine had the Durango color front 3/4 Split Bench Seat, no reflective decal and a hood mounted spring-loaded mopar ornament. It was a one owner car I bought in 1982. I believe it was a special ordered car. Sadly, less than a year later the car was stolen by a drunk roommate and burned to the ground. I assume it went to scrap. I wish I had the VIN, I have NEVER seen an identical model. Yours is the closest!!!!

Great find Randy. Nice and clean. I have a SE model that is almost its twin, color and dent are a dead match. Spring special is rare indeed. I smile every time I get to drive it. I have subscribed and will be watching.

Nice 74 Randy! Crazing on the stripe looks cool! 318 sounds good and man does that have the original starter. Sounded like my dad starting his Dodge 72 Crestwood 400 to go to work in the morning.
