@ursgetsfit23 сағат бұрын
It doesn’t matter at the end of the day but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t subconsciously impact you. We have to call out those hidden pressures we don’t think matter so we can recognize them and not succumb to them.

Awesome video! Thanks! I’ve been following along with your running channel and I was wondering if you could make a video for beginner runners! I have no idea where to start! Should I sign up for a 5k, do I need any special gear, etc? I love the running channel and it’s really inspired me to start my own running journey

Hi Ursula! Amazing transformation.👏🏽🙏🏽💯🔥. I know you cut out sugar, but what about complex carbs like bread, pasta, rice & potatoes? Do you eat those? If so, how have you been able to include them in your diet and still maintain weight loss? Thank you so much!🙏🏽
@ursgetsfit3 күн бұрын
I had them in moderation initially. Once I started running and lifting weights I had to increase them because my body needs them to sustain my activity level. I adjusted my macros on high activity days and followed a meal plan that incorporated foods like sweet potatoes, white rice and flourless bread. Just finished recording a what I eat in a day that shows my higher carb meal day…stay tuned 😁

@ last question…for now😁. Did you or do you fast at all? Either intermittently or by taking a day per week to water fast? Please advise. Thank you so much, Ursula!🙏🏽
@ursgetsfit3 күн бұрын
@ No I don’t follow IF or specific food/water fasts. I will typically do my first workout of the day in a fasted state because it’s so early in the morning but I don’t intentionally not eat. If I feel the need to eat something I do.

Not sure if u are a professional or not but I want to ask anyways haha. Do you know if it matters if you have a vitamin d deficiency and don’t get enough sleep, like ever? Also does going lesser than ur BMR mess up the progress u make or will u lose more weight by going lower than ur BMR?
@ursgetsfit5 күн бұрын
Not a professional. You can lose with a deficiency but I wouldn’t advise it. Seek medical assistance and find out how to bring your levels to within normal limits. Your body needs the sleep period to perform vital functions.. I could tell a difference in my weight loss when I started getting at least 7 hours sleep. You won’t lose weight starving yourself. You have to appropriately fuel. That’s like trying to drive a car on a quarter tank of gas - it will work for a while but not forever.

Recovery was great. 6 weeks, wasn’t really painful, just uncomfortable. I had no complications and was back running and strengthening training right at 6 weeks. There’s several videos on my channel about my procedure and recovery if you’re interested in learning more.
