I got wind off Horslips in my early teens (I'm old now, 65). Their music stays as fresh and as wonderful half a century onwards....I bought this album on vinyl twice (the first one got worn out).

Phil improvises the lyrics " people out in Hollywood got a lot a class got a lotta nice girls got a lotta tight ass. Not like in New York. "Man, it's blubber. Not like in London Town wear a rubber.

Lizzy only played RI 3 times that was documented. Rocky point. Civic center open for Queen and that east Providence show. I saw two of those.

Phi Lynott promène sa guitare basse dans les étoiles comme Jimi le faisait, même univers , même niveau sidéral de rage et beauté ou se délectent et s'entrecroisent les deux guitares. Merveilleux

This should be listed as one of the best concept albums. Certainly as good as Jethro Tull's work at roughly the same time. Briliant.

The album that should have made them huge. A great live act. Used to play in the Imperial Dundalk and the Nuremore Carrickmacross regularly when I was a teenager and their gigs were always eagerly anticipated by those of us who couldn't get our rocks off to Joe Dolan, Big Tom or D'Indians😂 What a fucking band. Rip Johnny. You meant the world to us.
