I attended a local con over the weekend and came to the realization i really like “ladder climbing” games so this is right up my alley. Ladder climbing with a twist. Thanks for teaching!

Good game! Japanese say Gatan Goton.

I noticed that it was very nice for the audience to see that one hand of cards so we can try to understand the kinds of decisions made in the game.

Thank you! I was confused on how to play the box cards. The instructions were lacking and vague

Thanks for the extended play through. I now understand how to play. ( I think) Playing out the entire game was very helpful. Just ordered it. Keep up the good work , I look forward to seeing other videos that you release.

It's kind of a shame you guys stopped covering Japanese games.. or that never went through "Flip City" :V

What a weirdly interesting game. I bet there are LEGO pieces that might just do the trick (for anyone outside of Japan)

Thank you for this clear and concise video. I only found out about this game about a month ago and just received my copy the other day. Super excited to try it out because of the game's setting. Meiji period is my favorite period of history to study so this board game was perfect.

The free app cured me of any fascination I had for Shephy. Terrible game. STD garbage that can kill you regardless of skill.

You just have to manage your resources carefully with the negative cards in mind

I'll bet you could combine the kitties and doggies in a game yourself. We're looking for Doggy Go to try it.

On the way back up to the submarine, I'm assuming ruins chips still get deducted from your dice roll? And that's why you might want to ditch them on the way back up?

We have just opened this, a Christmas present given to our family (we were told to open it early so by the time Christmas comes we'll know how to play it😁). We are all looking forward to having a go!

This Game is a rip off! I purchased this for someone who plays games solo; it says on the box 1 - 4 Players; we can find no such game variant included for one person...

Thank you for your clean explanations for the game. When I ordered the game (Deluxified Edition) from KickStarter last year I thought it would take a heck of a lot of time to comprehend the rules. Due to your video here though I was able to get this to the table more than I expected

Thanks for the playthrough. I am a little confused why a player would want to pass a card instead of keeping it. Perhaps the player on the right might keep the 10 and "catch up" to the player at the top? I guess the strategy will make more sense once I actually play the game. Your video really helps explain the game. Thanks!

Saw this at Barnes and Noble, and there were no English descriptions anywhere. Thanks for the explanation! Looks super cute. I think it'd be great for adults who have a sense of childlike playfulness as well.

so if i "die" and have 2 chips, it gets stacked at the end, but if the next player dies with one chip, does his stack after mine or does his one chip get stacked on my 2 chips?
@Elbonio7 жыл бұрын
Stacked onto yours, making a stack of 3

I wanted to get this for a friend who is a fashion designer. What makes this about fashion design other than it looks like the cards have stripes, polka dots, etc on them? It seems like this could really be about the "rights" to anything. idk I was just expecting it to be more "fashion" related. Even the design representations are really simple, I thought they were going to be like pencil skirts and other types of garments.
@chayashida7 жыл бұрын
Kasey Prom You're right - this game has little to do with fashion. They actually recently re-themed this game as Startups - a game about getting stock in startup companies.
