This pair came in for resoling, but I had some extra time this weekend and decided to make a video demonstrating how I believe Blundstones should be properly cleaned, as many customers often ask me about it. They are scheduled to be resoled mid-week.

I honestly don't understand how fashion houses can have the audacity to charge such exorbitant prices for shoes that are manufactured no different to mass-produced goods. Whats even more baffling are the consumers who actually spend that kind of money on those items.

Did that come close to maxing out the out sole stitcher in terms of thickness? How thick can you go?

It can be more, but I don't recommend going beyond this point as it may become uncomfortable to walk.

Very cool. How can I get such shoes, how to pay and receive, and do you have an agent?
Those are ugly shoes , a fool and their money is easy parted. For whatever reason they were purchased and tore apart at least they look better now

I always wondered if those outsole stitching machines could go slow like that or everyone else stitched super fast because they had to. Based on the results shown here I think "slow and steady wins the race" compared to most of the other outsole stitching I've seen.

I used to wear this boot for years and I used to go through them every year to 1.5 years. And then I got a pair of handmade JK boots made in the USA and just the leather on the boot is almost double the thickness, if not double the thickness of a Red wing boot. You will buy a pair of Jk boots and they will last you for at least 10 years.

I had hoped the company was upgrading to Vibram or Goodyear soles but I received my replacement boots and the sole is TPU, Thermoplastic Polyurethane, which is still an inferior product. Too bad. You have the right idea!
