Boa noite , tem como usar um arquivo sbs no substance painter ?
@ninashaw-gameartКүн бұрын
Olá! Não,um arquivo SBS é um arquivo do Designer. Pode é exportar do Designer um arquivo sbsar e importá-lo no Painter 😊
@misanthrope_013 күн бұрын
more elegant and configurable in Painter. please don't downgrade your workflow for Blender kiddie views. Keep using Painter. Show them a professional workflow.

It's important to learn texturing using all kinds of software 😊 but substance painter still is my main software to texture my models.

Hello thank you! Do you stop to make props with game asset workflow? Details from the concrete wall is easy to bake on normal map isn't it, with a simple plane for example? I wonder how I'd can bake the barbed wire with a game asset workflow, an twisted plane?

can this be made into a material for different meshes in painter?
@ninashaw-gameartАй бұрын
Yes, you can save this as a Smart material and use it for other meshes
@ScaryBarryDairyАй бұрын
@@ninashaw-gameart i tried to apply it but the paint layers dont tile correctly only the asphalt texture will apply itself properly. any ideas of what i could be doing wrong?
@ninashaw-gameartАй бұрын
I dont know what type of mesh you are trying to apply the material but you need to check out your uv's they need to be in a 1:1 space like the plane I used for the tutorial. If not,you need to make those paint layers manually.
@ScaryBarryDairyАй бұрын
@@ninashaw-gameart ok so you were right. if the uv's dont formulate into a 1-1 tile then the paint layer will not fit due to the length of it. so i exported the textures and dragged the maps into the corresponding channels and got the result i wanted. but you have to straighten all the uv's if its a curved mesh. thanks for the help.
@ninashaw-gameartАй бұрын
Yes,you need to straighten the uv's if you have a curved mesh,that's it. Glad I could help you ☺️

Looks cool but it's definitely not a game asset, it needs to be baked as at this stage it is a good for medium-poly. Game asset would require extra 20% work.

5 minutes to make everything seems (modeling, unwrap, texturing) a little impossible, but that depends on how good "anyone else" is with Blender 👍
