I whaled the my way through the beginning and mid game pretty fast two years ago, so my in-depth advice at this point in the game would be outdated since I haven't tried starting a new account or anything like that.

I would use Morrigan + Western Queen + Lucifer as part of your defense team. Currently, a DIV2 Lucifer is very hard to kill.

No. PvP is too dominated by DIV2, and I already uploaded a recommendation video for DIV2 choices a while back. PvP is a DIV2 game now.

Her passive skill Life Elegy makes enemies have lower magic resistance which favors Amaterasu. She takes more resources than other SSR heroes to be useful since she can die easily, but she is late game for bosses.

Any boss-focused hero works. There is no set recommendation because the faction restrictions make you change your team every time.

Low spending? The first thing that comes to mind is the 1500% daily pack for 10 Novas to get 6 UR hero shards. Other than that, it's a slow process of diamond purchasing more shards from the general marketplace and heroes from the Arena marketplace.
