I ran the singlewing spin series for a couple of season. My players loved it and we even would shift to a spread from it. We avg close to 30pts a game with it.

The third play where the Split End and Tight End are on the same side looks like illegal man downfield to me. A covered player is ineligible even if he’s wearing an eligible number.

Yeah it was a formation miscommunication that didn’t get caught by the ref. The Strong side Heavy Tackle and nub side TE were supposed to switch sides and didn’t. Both were 10th graders…like herding cats to get kids to line up right sometimes😂

This is some really good stuff, Coach. I'm a youth football coach and have been running the UBSW for a while now. Working with a new team and trying to develop more aggression and physicality. Have any ideas on how to do that? Anyone have any ideas?

Late reply but keep practice simple rep tackling, blocking, game situation drills, alignment and assignments all done with progressive intensity and urgency. You'll know kids are hungry when they ask to hit!!!

Varies. Most times it’s used as cleanup periods on areas they need to work on. I give the leeway for extra Indy work.

Coach in the video you have a guard pulling and the BB hitting the flat, but when you drew up the play you had your X block down and release to the flat with your BB pulling. Im assuming its the blocking scheme in the video is what you mainly use but I wanted to double check

Correct. In the video we had to adjust some things this past year due to Covid quarantines that hampered us with IEP personnel. But yeah, it’s the whiteboard version that I usually use.
