This is neither modern nor animal-friendly in any way. It's an animal cruelty station, nothing more, I'm happy to pay more, but I know that my meat on the plate felt the sun and was allowed to live in freedom together with other animals. Companies like the ones shown here shouldn't be allowed to exist.

Wow I have never seen a pig/slaughter facility this sanitary, mechanized, and automated! Great demonstration of your modern equipment. Most pig farms and plants in North America are filthy and decades behind technologically. They hire some of society's scariest people and the facilities and procedures keep them that way. The employees shown on this butcher floor look like "normal" people just doing their job, and very efficiently at that.
