Biggest load of crap I heard this hour. CWP GLOBAL wants 234,000 hectares now. That's is almost 800,000 hectares gone for these wind turbine farms. BUT WAIT that's not good enough. You want to take more. 16 inland bays for offshore wind turbines. You have not told anyone about all the hydrogen pipelines nor are you being honest about us having access to the land once you take it over. lets not forget the unprecedented mining that you are organizing for Newfoundland and Labrador. Nothing will be left in 50 years (including the salt mines and gold mine. One salt mine had a life expectancy of 47 years and now they have it cut down to 32 years life info_toqlukutik(at)abo-wind.comof the mine (southwest coast of Newfoundland). And then storing enormous amounts of hydrogen/ammonia/CO2 (you have not told us if it is one, two or all three.). PS Most of these companies are not even from North America.

WHAT JOBS DAVE???? High paying jobs you say??? What a joke. Security jobs for locals will be 21 dollars an hour. This job is only for 30-36 months and then it is gone. Can't even get a mortgage with that Dave!. And you failed to mention the 1500-2000 temporary workforce camp they are bringing in. John Risley already stated they will be brought in by boat or plane. They already have their teams to build these 656 foot monsters. Their money will be sent home to their families. And once that is done within 30-36 months these workers will also be gone. The only good paying jobs I see are the ones working directly for World Energy GH2.

Peggy White is nothing but a greedy greedy woman. She moves back into the area and takes over. She will get very rich off of these projects. As first nation no one should be exploiting Mother Earth for their own pockets. She should tell people when the first time she really met with John Risley.

There is nothing exciting about wind energy as it is being presented in NL It is a sell out of rural NL. Once again a project for a few jobs but do NOT represent the green energy as green energy. With the utter destruction of relatively pristine wilderness in NL by these companies it will be an even bigger debacle than Churchill Falls.

Very cool. Such a great story from Newfoundland, and the passion and work ethic and determination this Keats family had and has. I hope to see Newfound Gold continue as an independent company, with possibly bringing in a junior partner, possibly from BIG Gokd, only if needed, for a small assist, and create a world class mining operation out of the massive Queensway project for decades to come. All the professionals on the inside believe that Queensway will be be mined for at least a couple to a few decades into the future. It could even be much longer, depending upon how much gold continues to be found at Queensway in the years and decades ahead. Keep Queensway with Newfound Gold, and in good partnership with the people of Newfoundland.
