@@liljoeii6091 Gas equipment can be finicky. Usually I just open the carb and clean it with brake clean and they are as good as new. I always use ethonal-free gas and prior to that, made sure all my fuel had Stabil 360 in it. There is a reason more people are switching to electric-powered equipment.

@@liljoeii6091 Welcome back Joe! I work my mowers harder than most with uneven terrain, catching the deck on stumps, and just putting a lot of hours on them. The average owner wouldn't likely experience this during the time they owned one. Another issue is the sloppy steering which will likely come up in a future video.

50/50 combine ATF and acetone and you will have the best rust/corrosion buster there is!! I was amazed when I used it and I think you will find that out as well. Cheers!

I mixed some of this up a couple of years ago and I didn't have any great results. It also seperated quickly. I've been using Kroil Oil, and it works okay. I've yet to find what I think is the 'best' rust buster though. I don't know. 🤔

You mentioned replacing that trailer at a cost of around $600.....to add perspective, it was bought brand new at Fred Meyer on sale for $149 around 1994, And yes, we towed it with a Subaru legacy wagon thru Montana into WY, and up thru Idaho. Seeing as how it's still in use in 2024, I'd say it's been worth every penny😊

Did you first try a screw out on the screws? I use them all the time with good luck. You looked like me years ago when you were racing your sled, but I was in a meadow in Rocky Mountain National Park. Was great fun!!
@mdmeadmdmead10 ай бұрын
I didn't put any extra effort into it. Knowing I wasn't trying to save the wood, I figured digging it out would be quick enough. I do have a cool little air-powered extractor; works on the same principle as the kind you pound on the driver and it twists the screw at the same time. Works pretty slick. Yep, snowmobiling is my passion. I try and ride a couple of times a weeks during the season. In fact, just got home a few minutes ago from a ride... and we are going out again tomorrow! (And Procrastination Garage will suffer because of it!)
