I like the keep it simple advice for consistency. Very validating! I've had moments where I ask myself why I can't be consistent without guardrails- I SHOULD be able to muscle through x,y, or z through the strength of my will- but honestly I'm not built that way for all the things. It's okay to leave the planning to others and just show up or click and just let it be easy. Re: exercise. The only way I've found that I can consistently workout is to follow a program. Options slow me down and I'd rather not spend the time figuring out what to do WITH THIS. Which I think is key. I'd much rather spend my time being thoughtful/creative/mindful in other areas.

Hi Tiffany! We met years ago at a conference in Palm Springs and I've been following your journey for years. I, too, just started on KZbin and I just wanted to come cheer you on! You have so much to offer the platform, and I'm excited to see you grow.

"Do what works for you" is such an important reminder. Yes, that in itself takes time and effort but once you find how something works for you and your brain and your cirsumstance, it makes life much easier and more fun.

This was a super empowering reminder - thank you. Notes were taken and I especially love the authority that I can give myself to 1. create my own proof when I feel uncertain, and 2. create my own version of spirit tending. And since you brought it up, how do we reframe the idea of “should” when we’re talking about radical self-belief. Recently, I’ve been trying to not use the word/concept because it has started to feel so loaded and heavy.
@thetiffanyhanАй бұрын
I'm so glad, e! For reframing should, it's all about noticing how things leave you feeling and what they're creating for you. Is it obligation-based or something deeper-maybe love, integrity, intuition... the words we use differ, but the feelings are usually similar!

i like the way you broke down the nuances of saying yes. Generally saying yes seems like a good thing, but it can be complicated and even scary. Thanks for getting me thinking on this!

Me at 4am: “Is this early enough?”
@dooolaayАй бұрын
I go to bed at 9. Awake at 5. I get plenty of sleep each night. Going to bed earlier isn’t an option.

This episode was so reassuring. I even wrote down that saying yes to change doesn’t mean you dismiss everything you’ve done so far. It’s not garbage (or in my case, a waste of time). So, the definition of yes is not finite- there are so many meanings that are personal to ourselves and our journeys… That said, I am super looking forward to the next episode because “Is this what I really want?” is a tricky one to answer with sincerity and honesty. Great show! ❤

No, we all don't. I already go to bed early. It's hard enough sleeping 6 hours much less 8. 10PM bedtime is early enough.

A simple idea that can have such a huge impact. Definitely needed to hear this right now.

This may need more explanation. I think understand it, though, so let me try to help with an example from my life. I'm the type of person who will always verbally give the other person the option to say "no" to any request I ask of them. I always say that I will be thankful and appreciative if they do help me, but I will not be angry or sad if they can't help me. I would hate for someone to force a task I don't want to do on me so I would never do that to anyone I have respect for.
