I was there ten years ago and yes it's so difficult to recognize the spots in the moment. But later when I went through my photos it was easier to recognize. If I ever return I'll bring reference photos with me-- and GPS locations!

We have been at Meads Wall yesterday. The exact spot is still there. You just have to walk up a little bit more. The coordinates are: -39.237733,175.561353 Anyways, nice video :)

I've driven through there a few times now. An epic drive to be sure. But try going through on a motorbike a week after storm. Even more of an adventure with slips, slumps and fallen debris.

Loved this game well done only one thing I can see these are nz winter prices and England summer prices for the meat and veges lol so nz will be alot more expensive but great game we'll done

alot of people in NZ have chooks, and sometimes they hatch to many chickens that have a high percentage of being rooster..not everyone is comfortable to put their excess roosters or hens, and sometimes older hens nearly at the finish of laying in the freezer...so they choose to release these birds at, picnic areas or areas serviced by alot of traffice, travellers, campers etc..that may help to feed them...hopefully released where they can access water and shelter...
