Yesterday, I saw a video where someone was teaching that Sopranos always sing the melody and Altos sing third higher while Tenors sing a fifth higher!! Can you imagine?! With his full chest o!! What rubbish!! Please the melody of any song is not the birthright of the soprano section! Any other section can be made to sing the melody, and that would be the part/harmony of that section in the general outlook, depending on things like the key of the song, and the particular voicing/inversion that the arranger/composer/director wants to achieve!
