I love the look of the boat but this boat has some glaring problems: (1) There is a through hull vent in the bilge that must be opened in order to improve the boat's performance. Why? Are Regulator owners going to remember to open and close this vent every time they go out on the water? I don't think so. Regulator's competitors do not have this design flaw in their boats and the 24XO should not have it either. This is one more entry point for water to enter the bilge should the hardware fail in the future. (2) The port side live well when filled with water and bait will probably impact the boats performance while underway. The live well should have been put in the floor (centerline) of the boat and not off to one side of the boat. Also, the live well should have a dedicated sea chest. (3) The batteries do not look accessible to me based on the above video tour. I want to be able to swap out my batteries when they need to be changed without ending up in a chiropractor's office the next day. (4) A high quality cooler (Yeti) should be mounted on rails and included with this boat and not added after the sale. (5) Stereo speakers and spreader lights should be mounted in the boat's hard top. Regulator, if you are going to charge a premium for your boats then you need to step up your game because there are other manufacturers out there, notably Everglades, that include the aforementioned attributes in their boats that are lacking in the 24XO.
