My favorite roller coaster there is Steel Vengeance, followed by Millennium Force, Top Thrill Dragster, Maverick, Gatekeeper, Valravn, Raptor, Rougarou, Wicked Twister (R.I.P.), Magnum XL 200, Cedar Creek Mine Ride, Blue Streak, Iron Dragon, Wild Mouse, Corkscrew, Mean Streak (R.I.P.), and Gemini.

The worst part of all this was that I was planning to visit Six Flags Great Adventure next summer. Now those plans are shelved until they have a replacement.

I personally put raptor below anything. It's almost a puker for me and I get the same response out of just about everyone in our groups. We head to CP several times a year but with kings Island being our home park, and having the 20 yr newer "banshee" it's pretty much night and day in the quality and smoother forces. My personal ranking (btw haven’t ridden sirens curse tt2 raptor or steve) 10. Gemini 9. Wild Mouse 8. Iron Dragon 7.Blue Streak 6. Magnum 5. Rougarou 4. Gatekeeper 3. Valravn 2. Millennium Force 1. Maverick Alr it’s clear I’m not a big fan of the Arrows lol. For me, all of them are just shaky. Magnum and Corkscrew are the shakiest, but they’ll never match might Canadian minebuster lol. I much prefer the intamins and b&ms also blue streak is sooooo underrated

Nowhere does it say "coaster" for kings Island. And saying "family thrill attraction"means probably a crap flat ride or at best, another longer baby vekoma. Flipping shame. I already wasn't getting passes next season since I've kind of burnt myself out these last few years. But no new amazing coaster in 2026 means, besides the beast for nostalgia purposes, at my age, my days of riding ki coasters may be over. Not going for the same ol.

I'm not convinced that the Axis coaster will be anything more than a gimmick. Watching animated POV's, there are too many moments where the track is moving around the rider like the rider is in a gimbal, and I suspect that's because the forces required to throw the pod around exceed the structural capabilities. If the track goes from below to above you and the laterals are minimal, that's just like.... why?

Yep, 2025 was my plan as well. Lots of folks are disappointed they’ll never be able to ride Kingda Ka again. I’m disappointed I never will.

@1420Days Six Flags said that Ka is being "Retired", not "removed". There are no demo permits for Ka or Drop of Doom, and nothing has been mentioned about Drop of Doom closing either. I think there's still a solid chance that Ka's structure is going to be turned into a new ride / reimagined. I made a trip to SFGA this June and fortunately got to ride Kingda Ka one single time, but sadly I don't think anyone will ever get the chance to make the OG Ka a credit ever again :( But at least it might become a new record breaking credit to claim!

@@xSneakieXx I watch like 7 coaster channels on KZbin, give or take. I’m sure you know who they are 😐 They all pretty much say the tower is coming down. I think the speculation is that the powers that be, do not yet know how to take it down. Once they get a demolition expert to show how it can be done safely, then the permit will happen. I personally think Ka will be the last to go, so that there will be plenty of room to pull down the tower, similar to how a lumberjack fells a tree. (Imploding the tower isn’t gonna happen). Even then, they may not get the permit for that kind of demo, due to safety concerns. Plus, I’m very certain, it’ll have to be self insured, no insurance company will want to touch it. The company may have to go the safer and expensive route and take it down piece by piece. Anyway, I’m rambling, don’t really know why😄 Bottom line… I really am with you in this, I do sincerely hope that you’re right and the tower stays.🤞

Honestly think that ka still has a chance to be reimagined. Though the park has stated that it would demolished, they also said that it was just “closing for the season” so I don’t entirely believe them. Also, unlike the other rides, we haven’t seen demo permits for Ka (not to my knowledge at least)

I'm heartbroken I'll never be able to get on Kingda Ka but I think GADV has a really bright future. For the Skyway they could easily replace it with a new higher capacity gondola from Doppelmayr or Leitner-Poma. Kingda Ka on the other hand would have to be replaced with something just as worthy if not more. I personally think they should get a Stratacoaster with an LSM launched lift hill similar to Maverick or Falcons Flight and give it a much longer layout than Ka.

The way they made the announcement for Kingda Ka is absolutely disgusting. I don’t understand why they made the trains so beautiful and this is happening. This won’t happen but if something like Maxx Force but more interesting replaces Kingda Ka that would be perfect
