Scott Eggleston I've been to 5 GWAR shows throughout my life in theater venues like The Warfield and the Regency Ballroom in SF and it was practically a packed house every time, while Lordi is now playing dinky fucking clubs in the US these days. I've always loved monsters and horror movies and all that kind of crap. But it's only 2 years ago that i ever heard about GWAR... I wish i had heard about them before cause they're pretty badass but it's possible that the Lordi dude is telling the truth. GWAR isn't that well known in some lands.

nobody has ever heard of gwar in finland. gwar was first time heard in finland back in 07 when lordi won the eurovision and some swedish magazine claimed lordi to be a copycat of gwar. just because they both use mostermasks etc dont mean someone copied the other one, neither one was the first one to do something like this! claiming lordi to be a copy of gwar is just ridiculous, both of them could be claimed to be copy of slipknot, alice kooper or kiss! gwar is probably just jealous of lordi being a success back in the day instead of them.
