Charles Stanley I love his stuff. Were you talking about his monthly Intouch devotionals or his devotional books? I get the monthly and use it daily for scripture writing. His hard books I seem to collect like you. (Wink) Good luck on your job hunt. Hopefully you find what you are looking for.

I love Charles Stanley stuff too! I enrolled in his free institute but I need to go print off the lessons to move forward. I hoard his monthly devotional and really need to use them because its very useful information.

@@natishanloves I have to say they are very good. Sometimes, I am like what, but mostly he does a quick little teaching (real stuff, no fluff) in each one. Uggg the Institute. I so want to sign up, but am telling myself to stay focused. I am a few months away from finishing this year’s chronological read, then I will sign up for 1 or more of those classes. There is so much good stuff out there.

So what you are saying is you savor your books. (Wink) This year so far I have read the Charles Stanley Bible Series they are short study/ lessons on topics like prayer. I read 12 Extraordinary Women, and the Great Disappearance. Last night I started my next read ..Beth Moore’s Breaking Free.

@@natishanloves just the ones I listed above. So only 3 books, but 12 ish bible studies. I am reading the Bible chronologically so as I get to a book, I sometimes add a study. I did John, James and Galatians, in addition to Charles Stanley series. In another week I will be at 2 Timothy. For that I have Beth Moores Entrusted. Breaking Free is an easy read so far. I just read a chapter before I go to bed. These are my first reads of hers (read I got them at discount), so I may get more.

Thank you for sharing! I remember my first inductive study and you're right, it takes time to grasp because there's alot to take in. Starting with smaller books of the bible helps and are not so overwhelming. A few other things I found helpful was to use pencil on the first mark ups. Also create a symbol key chart for key words. If you can make a copy of the observation chart so you want have to flip back and forth. Just take your time and enjoy the discovers along the way. 😊

Thank you! 💖. Im definitely going to take your advice on making a key and a copy of the observation chart for next time 🤗

Finally! Someone brave enough to try the inductive method on KZbin 😊 3 hints that helped me and might help you as well. 1. Make a cheat sheet of the color and symbol guide. It helps keep your map closer to where you are studying. 2. I agree that there is a lot to take in and attempt to accomplish. I've been inductive studying for over 20 years. Even if the bible I'm using is not the inductive bible. It will become second nature. Lol, really, it will. 3. This inductive method is not the final word on finding the perfect study method. You can add different symbols or remove some. For instance, I use a pink circle to mark references of weight, volume, or totality of something. Such as all, also, many, 40 days. We read fast because we were taught how to skip over words, but in God's word, all is all. It's enlightening to see things we might be missing if we are merely skimming the Word. Be blessed, and keep doing this type of studying. You will look forward to it, more and more & you will grow expeditiously !

I’ve been obsessively watching Bible collection videos as I’m preparing to get a new Bible after finishing reading through an entire Bible cover to cover for the first time in my faith journey. I love learning about all the different bibles in everyone’s collection videos and how some of their testimonies come out along the way. Anyway. The youth. The younger generation, I love them sooo much. I am a youth leader (helper) in my church and the middle school/high school group has my heart. We are actually about to start a youth lead service on 5th Sundays and in preparation for that I am starting a Bible study with those that are involved. I think getting us all synced and in fellowship with each other AND the Lord will set things up to prosper. We are nothing without Him and if we are planning on leading a Spirit filled service we need to really water the seeds and learn how to get ourselves out of the way and be obedient. As far as the Bible’s, I’d be ecstatic with either but if I had to pick I’d choose Tony Evan’s first and then Apologetics second but either would be a blessing. ❤

As a new grad nurse and a single mother of three, I have experienced many of life’s challenges and joys. Through it all, my faith in God has been my guiding light. I believe it is Important to share the gospel with the youth because it offers hope, purpose, and a solid foundation to build their life upon. In a world that can often be confusing and overwhelming, knowing God’s love and teachings provides clarity and direction. The gospel teaches us about love, kindness, and the importance of living a life that honors God. By understanding and embracing the gospel, you can find strength in difficult times and joy in everyday blessings. It’s a message that transforms lives, and I am passionate about sharing my experiences with others. I would love #1 The Tony Evans study bible

My favorite 2 study Bible = NKJV full color study Bible & Nkjv life application study Bible - & wide margin NKJV bible - or journal the word with reference- I use tabs or washy tape to tag my books of bible - favorite translations is 1995 NASB & NKJV & NLT I use as a devotion - new believer would be NLT - I like color pencils & color pens - main commentary are believers commentary & John MacArthur along with Tony Evans - yes I also keep a bible in my car- no I don’t care for devotional bibles but for the 1st time I do have a favorite devo- New Morning mercy by Tripp- very good different from other devo bc it draws Christ out & our identity in Christ - no mushiness in this - straight forward- yesss love amplify bible- Thomas Nelson publishing & Tyndale - -try Christian books bc they give size & let you look through the book to see how it’s set up- you might also like the app (free) parallel plus - you can have side by side translations of your choice & on my iPad I can get at least 7 on my screen- very good app. Helps instead of buying many translations to see how they correlate to each other - I use this a lot instead of dragging tons of books out- I also use olive tree for my commentaries- easier that I don’t have to carry them all around- I wait for them to go on sale on the olive tree app & you can get them for 10-15$ ..I bought ESV study Bible for $12. & just got life application for 15$ - even though I do have the Bible just less to carry 😊

This was fun!! Thank you, Natisha. No one in my circle really wants to hear about my bibles..🙃they do not understand my love for journaling God's Word. 1. My keepers... The ESV Jesus Bible would be my reader; its a fast read, full of Jesus nuggets. The ESV Study Bible; does it need to be justified😂? HosannaRevival ESV Helena is my journaling bible. She is just wonderful. 2. I count 5 translations on my shelf. 3. ESV is my favorite for reading and studying. 4. I am doing the Bible Recap plan this year, so I am reading and studying at the same time. 5. My bibles are all dressed with tabs😂. 6. Leathersoft has always been my favorite cover, but I am loving this HosannaRevival suede right now. 7. Tyndale's Inspire Praise was one of my first purchases...the NLT is very easy to understand and its fun to color!! 8. I use mildliners to highlight and the pentel energels are my go to pens right now. My pages are all marked up🤭. 9. I do not have a separate commentary. 10. Nothing stays in the car, but I do keep a tote packed ready to go if I think I will have a chance to read my bible. 11. I do not have a devotional bible. I do enjoy the articles in my KJV Womans Study Bible from Thomas Nelson... 12. Purple is the color I look for when I am looking for a bible😅. 13. The ESV Spiral Bible Set is on my wishlist. 14. Crossway...got to have my ESV😁. 15. The worst purchase ever...the ESV Journaling Study Bible. My mom told me to order my Christmas gift...I ended up wrapping the HosannaRevival one so she thinks that is what she gave me!! The font is way too small and the paper is like tissue paper. Not good for reading or writing in. 16. I cant think of another question to ask.

I just subscribed to your channel! I love this tag. 1. Reading: ESV The New Inductive Study Bible (our church uses the ESV so I like to know what the Bible says in that translation.) Study: NKJV Study Bible Journaling: I don't have a Journaling Bible. 2. I have 4 translations, but I mostly use the 2 I just listed. 3. Reading: ESV or NKJV (I like to memorize verses from the ESV, so as to be consistent with our church). 4. I like to read and study at the same time. 5. I don't really use Bible tabs too much. Only one of my 6 Bibles has them. 6. My favorite is hardback. 7. If someone from our church who was a new believer or youth/young adult, I would recommend the ESV, to easily follow what we learn in church. For someone else, I really don't know. 8. I don't really write in or underline in or highlight in my Bibles, but it is something I'm considering doing. 9. I only have one book that I think might be a commentary. I haven't used it much, because I really prefer to use the notes from my NKJV Study Bible. The commentary (?) Is called "Adventuring Through the Bible ", by Ray C. Stedman. I like to have it in case I decide to use it. 10. I don't have a car! I have thought seriously about buying a compact ESV to fit in my purse. 11. I'm not really into devotional Bibles, but I have considered getting a CSB She Reads Truth. I think that's a devotional Bible, but I'm not sure. 12. 5 out of 6 of my Bibles are hardback. They don't seem to have a consistent color scheme. 13. Wish list: considering getting a compact ESV and/or CSB She Reads Truth (or other CSB). 14. I honestly don't know which publisher I prefer. 15. The only regret I have is that I wish I had bought an NLT in hardback instead of paperback. I just prefer it. 16. I can't think of any other questions right now.
