I stay on my mount at the beginning but then it jumps me to the serpent... I figured out why, it's cuz I remapped my buttons some time ago. So you gotta press whatever your autorun button is, and then pick up the quest while slowly moving forward.

If you guys came from wowhead and ended up here , I would lik to share my exp to geting this achievement : i tried first in mythic , did exactly what i m supposed to do , didnt work . but after i read : i did it in heroic and it worked , i thought : this dungeon is only ijn mythic ( back in legion ) what are those comments ... they must be trolling , nop it exists in bfa at least XD . so what i did in heroic , deactivated 5 balisa kiled first boss , killed the 3 demons separately and then killed the 2nd boss took time to not mistake the intruder and cath him at first try , killed the boss close to the door AND THE BIG DIFFERENCE AND I THINK THIS VIDEO HELPED ME FIGURING OUT at 1:50 you can see there is a litlle RP scene , it activates when you walk close to this npc . so I did that aswell this time , killed the demon and looted the keys , the RP dialogue started like in this video , waited a bit , and VOILA , got the achievement ;) . Hope this is the litle trick that made the difference ( idk if its because i did it in heroic and its supposed to work nowadays like this or because of the 1:50 RP moment ) but i m sure it can help you guys ^^ . IT STILL WORKS!! Holy damn I tried EVERYTHING from actually running the race normally to every workaround, and kept finishing in 2nd no matter what I did! For those of you who have a hard time understanding him, when he says he's pushing down he means forward, I think. I was on my mount when I took the quest, backed up a bit, then WALKED by her as I spoke with her and KEPT walking forward till I had flown off the cliff. I then let go of the forward arrow and then pressed it again. Don't know what this did, but it kept me from flying too far forward as letting go of forward stopped me and I didn't continue moving when I pushed it again. I kept it held forward the second time as the timer clicked down and started the race. I began exactly where I was, not down in the water (though I was prepared for that). Basically I started ahead of everyone else and had my 310% mount. I still saw the bugged black rider as I flew the course (he stands on air in various spots for me), but I still finished 1st. Couldn't be happier!

Why do so many Spaniards love this song? I couldn't find any how to play videos in German or English. I think I'll make one in German in English soon. That said I wish I could play the guitar or any instrument half as well as you play the piano.
