Why orange? I’m sure you know this but Anaheim is in ORANGE COUNTY ca. and it’s a very PROUD city/county. I’d admit it’s allot of orange but I guess they want everyone to know it’s the city’s team and they’re going to represent Orange County any way they can for better or worse.

Fun fact: the color scheme was an accident! The original colors were supposed to be burgundy and green! Almost like what the Minnesota Wild had debuted as their colors. But, upon printing the logos, the printer had an error and printed the green as blue! They ended up loving the error and changed the scheme to burgundy and blue! As Bob Ross would state, it was a happy accident

the Ducks play in Orange County that is said to be the reason for the rebound in Orange i do like like it as a hockey fan . and not because my home team Flyers are Orange to and shocker i like Flyers uniforms too i do miss the waist stripe but i like the orange is darker and not many people like the numbers on the sleeves as 1 color but i think just the one color makes the number stand out more .

I hate the Ducks all orange looks just like the Flyers only on the Flyers it works this not so much

I love the Kings re-brand back to the Wayne Gretzky era jerseys so much that I plan to buy both their jerseys by the end of this new season. The Ducks jerseys also hit it out of the park. LOVE them as well. Hope to do the same in getting both of theirs. As for the logo comparison, they are just subtle changes. You both identified the changes on the duck mask such as the gold eyebrows and changed hockey sticks with the W shaped blade tape. You also should see that the stick blades are now straight instead of an upward angle. AND, the triangle size itself is slightly smaller. Note how high the top of the sticks go above the triangle than the original logo. I personally prefer the original Ducks primary logo with the enhanced changes. No change to the triangle behind the puck and mask. But oh well. Still looks great though. And damn, I wonder if they mislabeled the sizes again. Then again, that sleeve length and width discrepancy is an issue that MUST be fixed. It probably will be a good idea for me to wait until no sooner than mid-season to buy either of those Ducks jerseys. And I already said my opinion in your past video on the jersey unveiling this summer. Massive upgrade overall in the entire branding. Love the uniforms. Lastly, I watched that Kings/Ducks preseason game played in Anaheim last weekend and that uniform matchup has skyrocketed to one of the very best in the league.

So that home Ducks jersey looks like it's a 52 then. Wow, great to see Fanatics are continuing Adidas' ineptitude at being consistent with the sizing. As for the actual jersey designs, home needs black shoulders to break up all that orange, away jersey is better as it's white. And yep, I'm not a fan of the disney ducks logo either - minor league name and logo.

The reason the road white wins out for me over the home is the same reason I prefer the Rangers' road white - the shoulder yoke. A white or black yoke with contrasting trim would save the Ducks' home jersey from "too much orange".

Maybe the addition to the eye to make it more fierce-looking was inspired by the Kraken logo.

Love the ducks update, there are a few things I would change, but I’m really glad they didn’t do away with the duck foot, I am partial to it. That size difference had to have been a mistake at the factory, significantly smaller.

Minnesota, Montreal, and New York's seem alright. Not amazing, but they get a pass. Toronto, Ottawa, and Boston are kind of disappointing and should re-brand immediately. LOL

I HATED our away jersey last year. This one is so much better. Both jerseys look sharp. (I saw them in person when the Kings and Ducks were playing preseason in Ontario) These jerseys are sexy and comfortable. Edit: I bought a Drew Doughty Premium just like what you guys reviewed.

This is wonderful news in the quality of the Fanatics Premium. Thank you for providing a great look at those 2 jerseys and a review of them. Provides confidence and hope that maybe... just maybe Fanatics will be able to win over fans and collectors. And the Kings dramatically improved their look with the modernized Gretzky era logo and updated tweaks to that look. It actually looks better than the original. Except I wish they went with the same name and numbers as the Gretzky era jerseys. They look great on you both, that's how good they are.
