Oi just bought a rew reansmiter. it is a TQi. my reciver is alsop a TQi. i've tried and tried but they willNOT BIND.

I just block the exhaust to stall the engine then I throw it in a corner for the winter. It started next spring. Engines are only about $100 anyway.

This is why I love Traxxas. Who else put the level of quality, design, instructions so far in the industry ? This is so satisfying… I appreciate so much when everything is well designed and all the datas and instructions are clearly made and available, this is the highest level of professionalism. I’m working in automotive domain so I care a lot about that. Traxxas is the only one RC brand who took the hobby so seriously. They put all the aspects of the hobby to the same standards as best real car brands… Stock, distribution, advertising, database, engineering, support, availability, marketing, etc. etc. I’m 44 yo, did all my studies and career in automotive domain and I’m very, very impressed. If I was American, I would like to work for this company. All my respect to what Traxxas achieved. Big salute from France 🫡 Vincent.

Thank you so much Traxxas! This worked! I moved my Velineon VXL-3S from my GMade Sawback with a 2300kV motor to my Tamiya Egress with a 3300kV motor and a NiMH battery. When I ran it in the grass, it cutoff quickly and the red light blinked slowly. Recalibrating it by using this procedure fixed the problem! My Egress is tearing up the yard now!

@3:48 what a complete pain it was to align that steering linkage and get the screw to go through! Made it look sooo simple in this video. That thing wouldn't line up for the screw, I had to fight it and rig up tools wedging the linkage while working the tires back and forth until I finally got it. I literally felt defeated on this, thought I was gonna have to take it to a store and get some experienced help on it. My truck is the new 2024 and I thought it came with the 2085x but guess not, it was the regular 2085 and after only 5 outings the servo gears blew up and started grinding and stopped steering. During the replacement I was pretty disappointed finding so many stripped threads. They had to of over tightened, probably power tools right from the factory build. Sad to see this on practically a brand new truck. They also didn't put thread lock on the set screw on the gears and it backed off on the 2nd trip out, motor just spun and it stopped driving. Makes me fear what else am I gonna find next, seems like factory quality control is pretty bad for new assembly.

Hello, traxxas. I have a Bronco light kit, and I want to buy the light bar. Is it compatible to supply power into light kit bronco?

Don’t buy this. I’ve had a shelf-queen UDR for a couple of years that I finally decided to drive a bit ( had about 80 minutes run time total). Thought Link might be an interesting addition. Installed this week, it immediately went to software update and completely bricked my esc - reversed steering and zero forward or reverse throttle. Update gets stuck in loop and continuously asks to retry. Sooooo p!ssed. Traxxas support were really sh!t and simply said I need a new esc. Well, it was your damn update that bricked it. I’m in Australia so they fobbed me off to the retailer I bought it from, but I have no warranty so I have little chance of being helped. Buyer beware.

Screws and motor bearing and pinion gear gave out but thats all after 6 months of HEAVY abuse!

Does this apply to Trx4m as well ? I went as far as replacing the motor yet still my defender still doesn’t work
