I love the LS. But a Small Block Chevy 350, would fit a truck like this perfectly.

I realize that, at the time of the introduction of seat belt laws in the early 1970's, to get the driver's attention, all automakers had obnoxious buzzers installed to ensure you didn't ignore the seat belts. It was a tough sell, but obnoxious buzzers worked, finally giving way to more pleasant chimes. Dodge, however, had one buzz for the key in with the door open, and a second slightly detuned buzzer for seat belts. The two of them together are perhaps the most obnoxious sound pairing ever to intentionally come from a vehicle. And they still buzz just as loud and proud as the day this beauty came off the assembly line.

Nice to hear the original gear reduction starter kick ol’ Slanty into life. A little tune up, some brake work, a clean up, & you’ve got a good daily driver. It lives up to the old saying, “Ya Can’t Kill A Slant”

If the engine fires off with some flammable liquid in the carb, and if it has a title someone would snatch that up for a decent price AS-IS. That would make a nice daily patina cruiser with a little love.
