Is it possible to do this without a sewing machine? Im learning how to sew rn and im trying to make a skirt for a 6 inch action figure so it’s a much smaller skirt than this one.

So cute!! Did you have to use a different foot to sew with for the thicker fabric? I’m just getting back into sewing and have only tried thinner fabrics so far.

I’m new to sewing. When you cut the fabric (6.55) do the stitches not come undone? I would’ve thought they would because were cutting through them?

I mean probably take that shape and x it by 3 like earlier in the video but I could be wrong I’m still trying to figure out myself .

as she said, she got her waist and hips’ measurements - as I do it, I divide the measurements by 2 (let’s say my waist is 60cm and my hips are 70cm so i get 30cm x2 and 35cm x2) then she drew like a trapezoid that’s rounded at the bottom so i get I also would do that - the top (the shorter side of the trapezoid) is the waist measurement (the 30cm) and the bottom is the hip measurement. tbh idk if you should make the bottom rounded or not, i personally would keep it straight. the sides are up to you and how short you want the waistband to be. and a little tip - draw a trapezoid that looks almost like a rectangle, that’s how most of the pleated skirt patterns look like:) hope i helped 🩷
@sodesperate41443 ай бұрын
AND I FORGOT - make two trapezoids because you need the front and the back of your waistband. then sew them together just like she did in the tutorial

Hi Linda- So excited for this bag!! I was wondering if you could enlarge it by print it at 110%?
@lindaqzhang5 ай бұрын
Hi!! So glad, it’s become my go-to errands bag I love it 😁 hmm for enlarging to print at 110% - tbh I’ve never tried this myself so I can’t say for sure, but in theory seems like it might work? If you still want to try this though, I’d recommend two things: 1) make sure after enlarging the print, that nothing is getting cut off in the margins 2) once you print it out, check that all the seam measurements seem to still match up!
