Thank you for the video ... for me it's so amazing to think -especially on country side- how people lived there long time ago - from villa to villa, hills up and down...

Thanks for the video - 2000 years ago Rome was called the center of the (European) world, amazing places of interest. You managed the car traffic well .. Italian style... 3 lanes, no labeling and Italian style: some how is works LOL

You were at Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe with its artificial waterfall, a fine example of baroque landscape and garden architecture. The Counts of Hesse-Kassel were notoriously short of money and made use of the fact that the neighbouring territory was the Electorate of Brunswick-Luneburg, bettter known as Hanover for short. And as they had become the Kings of Great Britain the Counts of Hesse-Kassel came up with a "business plan" that worked fine for them: selling soldiers, officially leasing them. Even men that were just travelling through Hesse-Kassel were kidnapped on the road under the pretence that they were tramps, pressganged into the Hessian army and then shipped down the Fulda river from Kassel to Hannoversch-Münden where they reached Hanoveranian territory. They would then carry on their journey to the mouth of the Weser where the British transport ships would wait for them and brought them over to America.

3:44 Well, the funny thing is. Metric is much easier to grasp than cups, tablespoons, inches and miles. If you know how money works, you are most of the way there 😅

Thanks for sharing - Wikipedia says they started building the tower 850 and finished 650 years ago including very long stops for the skew problem ...hey, you made the stairs up in a short time 🙂

waiting for the next part ... ups... out now ... I have seen all from today. So you left the rain (Germany-Austria-Switzerland) behind ... Milan vibes now :-) First time crossing the alps :-) I didn't catch whether you liked the original Italian spaghetti and I also didn't catch the touristic? secret of Detroit pizza :-)

Where is that? The blue-white flag is the bavarian flag. The church must be a pilgrimage church and the candels were gifts as a thank you for given health or what they had prayed for. The style is baroque, which is often seen in Bavaria, the "marble" is normally wood or painted plaster, real marble was too expensive. But, yes, that is a real masterpiece and the saint must have brought a lot of money to the church. The outside is different to other churches and is not in the baroque style.

"Money is different, language is different" - Oh really? And I thought that in Europe/Germany everything would be the same as in the USA. What a coincidence that we speak German here in Germany, Danish in Denmark and French in France and so on... Who would have thought. I'm just teasing you a little. Have fun here, great impressions and broaden your intellectual horizon. The world is far more than just the USA. ;-)

The white Building in front of the Restaurant is an art gallery. It’s well known. I love the Bergpark. Water runs every sunday afternoon and every first saturday in a month even at night. At that time the buildings are illuminated.

The first "capitol" building is the federal administratiom court (formerly administration court of the Reich), the second "castle" building is the new town hall (city administration building) from 1905. At the end you arrived at the market square with the old town hall which dates back to 1556.
