I was born in 98 so I didn’t see big pac or anyone else’s run of the 90s but my mom and my brothers told me the first song i ever sung along to was from the hot boys. I think the most accurate analogy is hoop fans saw Jordan. As a down south rap fan I saw Wayne. I mean dawg just listening to this and how hypnotic he was I’ve never heard a bad verse from Wayne. And his influence on everyone after him is eerily similar to Pac’s. I mean the lighter flick before the song, similes, dreads, rockstar aesthetic, I believe bloods and crips being prevalent in the south stems from Wayne.
