This was the First Jazz Festival, São Paulo - Brazil, in 1978. I was there, close to the stage. The roadie who carried Joe's gear was André Christovan, who had met Joe when in the mid 70's studied at G.I.T in L.A., and who became Brazil's greates blues guitarist and a close friend of mine in my teenage years.

Uma pena quase não encontrar registros da banda na internet ou no Spotify. Adoraria ouvir essa e "Ça va" em boa qualidade...

I wonder what year and where this was recorded. I’ve been to his concerts in the early 80s like this where he played that guitar

Brazilian music has many faces and facets, and chamber music like this is consider pop music, being broadcasted on radios and households. We grew up listening to this, thanks to the talent of musicians like them. It’s a part of our cultural heritage and continues to resonate deeply.

This is just bullshit notes. Listen to the outro of "You Only Left Your Picture" for a "best" GR-300 performance.

I found this video because myself observed a very similar object in Eastern Europe (Ukraine) on November 23rd, 2021 from 3:04 am to 3:18 am. I even managed to shoot a short video with this object (see my videos). It really doesn’t sound like an airplane or satellite or an helicopter. The speed of its movement is too low for an airplane, moreover, the airplane has identification beacons that are clearly visible even in a small binoculars. I was able to see it through a telescope with a significant magnification. Nothing to do with an airplane, helicopter or satellite. Moreover, the sky was completely covered with clouds, and as we know, satellites do not fly below the clouds. Unfortunately, while I was trying to establish a significant magnification with my telescope, the object disappeared from view.

saw something similar to this Sept 4, 2017 in Virginia, USA. To my eyes it appeared to be like a white line that flashed slowly, then faster. It moved in a large circle, then something came from the right that left a quick trail, then met the white line, shone brighter, then was gone. Watching a doc called Australian Skies 2 and actually the first part of doc shows EXACTLY what I saw, but the interviewee, Liam, saw these things in 2013, I believe. After 3years or so of searching, I had NEVER seen footage of exactly what I witnessed (2 dif sightings, 2 dif light anomalies) Until I watched this doc. I was floored.

It is likely Iridium satellites used for satellite phone communications. they are relatively new so you are seeing the reflection of the Sun as one of about 100 or more identical Iridium satelittes bounce it to you. They are all arranged in perfect web like all over the globe orbiting to provide reliable satellite phone services. There is websites that can provide you with exact time and date for next iridium flash if you will provide your address and stay at your address for it to happen. It is remarkable how it is predictable.. Iridium flashes can be very bright if you are willing to go to a place at right time and date for maximum flash experience.. If you bring a binocular, it will be very bright so you need to know exactly where to point your binoculars as instructed at the website. if you google Iridium (satellite tracking), then you will be able to enjoy watching any one of them flashing back at you.. However, it can always be another different satellite that happened, too. Flashes or “flares” are usually reflections off the solar panels or any shiny panels on the satellites that faces down to Earth and the Sun happens to hit the panels and bouncing toward you in an instant. They happen mostly after dusk and before dawn as the Sun is low on the horizon which works that way. You probably won’t see any during the high noon time or in the middle of night when the Sun is well under Earth

Nobody did it better than Mr. Joe Pass. We're fortunate that his music is preserved as he was well recorded throughout his career. There are lots of videos like this performance. I could listen to Joe all day; sometimes I do.
